They also had a news bit today about a cat discovering that his balls are gone after waking up from neutering. HuffPo took it even further and did a video segment on it.a
It baffles me that that the Metro is reporting on a grown man swearing on youtube about a film when we're fighting a war in Iraq.
Actually just going to an Adam Sandler film is too. They're junk, but they're inoffensive junk. The only person to be mad at is yourself for deciding to watch an Adam Sandler film in the first place.
I forgive Adam Sandler every shitty movie he has ever made or ever will make because of this one line in Happy Gilmore.
I thought the site was already sinking after Gamer Gate started up.Thats site would sink faster than a paper boat in a storm, and no Im not just referring to his weight.
My understanding is that they've gone into full-damage control but have been haemorrhaging money at an unrecoverable rate since GamerGate helped the sponsors do the right thing. Kotaku is afloat but dead in the water and won't be going anywhere but down.I thought the site was already sinking after Gamer Gate started up.
Someone should point them to the 70 minute dissection of Star Wars The Phantom Menace by RedLetterMedia. That's a news-worthy review.Really? Really.
Most brutal film review my ass. Im seriously surprised anyone from any form news site bothers to watch manBoob's reviews. Also its less brutality and more manbaby rage because he watched an Adam Sandler movie.
What's next? Kotaku decides that he should be part of their hated journalist team? Thats site would sink faster than a paper boat in a storm, and no Im not just referring to his weight.

I still don't understand how people find his raging entertaining and insightful.
Aren't reviews supposed to be inform the audience about the strengths and flaws of the piece, then make a judgement call on quality of the piece so the audience knows whether to consume it or not?
Because I thought they were, as opposed to a bunch of swearing, screaming and general tardery.
If they want to see a real filmcritic going mental over a film, why didn't they choose Mark Kermode?

As funny as that particular one was, I think it helped start a horrible trend of narcissistic "reviewers" making "reviews" of movies about half as long as the movie itself. The whole point of a review is I want to find out if something is worth watching, not watch half the fucking movie with some guy yakking over it.
The vast majority of people doing this are not fucking funny, they're not right about most things, and they're autistic as Rain Man and Chris-Chan's love child.
