This is something I think a lot of chucklefucks on the left have missed with the 2020 chaos. Regardless of whether fraud happened, the dual refusals of the Supreme Court to offer an opinion on both the Covid-related voting measures and deal with Pennsylvania's judicial changes of election law has pried open a good degree of leverage for states to openly manipulate their own federal election rules whenever they please.
It's just a matter of time for example before a state in flyover country decides to "adjust" voting laws to start getting into actual voter suppression and tell the enraged coasties "too bad so sad". And when the inevitable court cases happen and are naturally won by Democrat groups? Said state just points back to 2020, laughs, and keeps their laws in place because "lol Supreme Court ain't enforcing shit". Those blue Texas dreams are now forever memes, and when the likes of Ron Brownstein and James Carville finally realize it and cry bitterly over it I will raise a glass of my finest in salute satisfied in the knowledge that these idiots will never truly learn.

That might be optimistic. The SCotUS didn't make any actual rulings that a state's conduct of their election couldn't be interefered with, they just refused to hear such a case. They could, correct me if I'm wrong, choose to hear a future one. It would just be extremely hypocritical and obvious.
I like Rose McGowan. I mean, she probably wouldn't like me but I respect her more than people like Alyssa Milano who dropped MeToo like a hot rock the moment a credibly accused person (Biden) became the Democratic candidate. Rose McGowan actually was sexually abused and worked in an industry where sexual exploitation really is rife. I feel sorry for her - it must have been truly awful seeing so many supporters of the movement she believed in peel away the moment it became politically inconvenient for them. They didn't just say "Nah fam we ain't gonna hear it." They said that the case even lacked standing in the first place. They can't turn around in 2022 and say "Well Texas didn't have standing in 2020 but California has standing to sue Texas this time." It would be the most nakedly partisan decision in the history of the Court, first of all, and that leads to the second problem.
How would the Supremes enforce their ruling? As the apocryphal quote goes "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!" What are you going to do when the Governor and all the state authorities say 'Nah fam, the 1 billion votes are legit' and send the slate of electors on up? Apparently you can't do anything in Congress about it.
These are dangerous games to be playing, and I only hope the people pulling the strings get the brunt of the blowback.
