Pokimane had around ~3m twitch followers and ~4m youtube subs at the start of the year (don't have exact numbers as playboard/socialblade graph don't show the start of the year). ~5.5m followers and subs by August, and ~6.5m of both by years end.

I find this disgusting to no end. And again it's not that wench that is generally the problem, it's the toxic simps.
If you are going to simp do it towards worthy people with at least some talent and/or personality. Plank is set really damn low.

Very much agree unless we are talking about actual authority that can make us go away. But that is thankfully resolved.

These thread screencaps are making rounds here and there and it's kinda funny, ngl ("I'm being exposed~"). The most visible result of relocating the thread, closing and and bringing it back is an increased number of drive-by fa- I mean genuinly interested, respectable posters. But I also hope that some new people with fresh new informations about vtubers will also come here - either now or during the unavoidable HoloEN2/HoloSinger debut, so updating the OP with rules was a great idea.

Most of Holo is playing MonHun right now, but the Goemon 2 gameplay by Okayu was great - this game series usually has fantastic music and can be quite bizzare sometimes. I haven't watched the whole thing, but I saw Okayu posting on twitter that she managed to beat the game.
Today, in few hours, our resident Eldritch Abomination, Lulu Suzuhara, is making her comeback - hopefuly the next sorely missed force of nature, Haachama, will be back soon as well (has the exams period ended in Japan already? or is it always exams period in Japan?).

Looks like a new site tool to view, multi view, track, view clips etc etc of all the chuubas (like, not just the corpos but all known Vtubers). Looks smooth too. Quick summary of its features here on the leddits. EDIT: Turns out its an old site tool that was originally just tracking and eventually evolved into what it is now. Think of it as 2.0 release I guess

Multiview, my internet died trying to take this. It's not as quick viewing as HoloTools because you get a blank multiview template and its up to you to fill it out. But you get to fill it out with whoever you want to watch.

Music section

You can sub to channels and set favorites so it only shows you who you want to watch, add streams to a to watch list so you can go back and watch the archive, and if you're feeling really chatty and sociable, a random clip viewer that has a chatroom for you to watch clips with others and chat with (MugenClips Beta feature). I think I'm gonna retire HoloTools from my constantly opened tabs.

I wouldn't really call it an obsession, but I am interested to hear in their past careers and what they did before joining their current agency, so I can see "Oh, so that's what they were like before. Yeah, that makes sense." One thing that's interesting for Karen (at least to me) is tracking how she's evolved her career over time. Some of her original tracks as Dice were very...vitriolic against certain aspects of the music industry and Japanese culture, along with just straight shitposting like with Gang Gang Kawaii. Then they started to get more introspective about her personal struggles. Then she became Calliope and the same thing kinda happened so she never left that personality facet behind, but her lyrics now are much more confident and focused in a different direction, but some of her work still very much is rooted in Dice, like making a rap about bread or Cursed Night.

I came here just to talk more frankly about vtubers without having to worry about draconian discord mods or the wrath of T-chan and ended up just finding out interesting stuff about some of the girls I had followed before the EN crew; it's cool information but not necessarily what I'm here for. I will agree that people who come here for the sole purpose of learning the doxx are kind of scummy. It happens in reddit communities as well, but there people providing the doxx get assblasted over it, and rightfully so. If you're gonna go to a place, follow its fucking rules. I think people just come here for easy namedrops and face doxxes since KF and 4chan are kind of lawless but at least KF has a clean interface to look at. 4chan gives me a headache trying to make any sense of it and I actively used the site about 15 years ago.
