I see the argument for not releasing it. If it does get "released" it could pit these forums against Chris' team. And it puts Rammspieler at the frontline of that battle. I don't think it would be a huge deal, but I can understand why people might not want the hassle.

I kind of hope it gets released, because I would enjoy watching it. But I don't think anyone is doing anything wrong if it stays hidden.

People are way too quick to say they have a right to see or know something. Usually it just means they want to see it.

Frankly I find that hard to swallow. Chris and Barb are either despised or ignored by pretty much everyone they come across (unless they're paid to tolerate their presence, of course). Chris has bitched about this several times. There's no way they have the level of influence necessary to initiate a "smear campaign", let alone run anyone out of town. Any sane person would dismiss their hate-fueled accusations as insane ramblings, and that's if Chris and Barb are lucky enough to get anyone to listen to them in the first place.

Slightly related question: Have any Charlottesville area newspapers given Chris positive coverage in the past 3 years? If so, can anyone link the articles?

Unless the "reporter" is some known clickbait whore absolutely certain to write some POS, no point revealing them. Because if they aren't, exposing them to cool guys will guarantee it'll be negative. Even if that's what's likely going to happen anyway, no need to guarantee it.

Also, is the WK actually important? What's the rush on that?

In all seriousness, I just think everyone wants to know why she's trying to call out trolls, probably knowing full fine well there's nothing she can actually do to stop them (e.g. is she a reporter, a friend of Chris's, a social worker, some random white knight/SJW, and since she probably knows our field agents aren't guilty of any wrongdoing, what is she hoping to accomplish here?)

It's one of two things.

As you say, she could be using Chris to get attention. In which case she is obnoxious and annoying so it doesn't seem like a good idea to give her what she wants.

On the other hand, she could be a genuinely nice and helpful person, who either because of professional or persononal reasons, is trying to help Chris out. In which case, it's a bit of a dick move to dox her.

Revealing the name of someone writing an article is pretty much the furthest thing on earth from doxxing someone (regardless of what weens might do with said info later.)

Guys, I'm at work so I'll have to keep this brief.

First of all, it has been established by lipitor in the Inner Circle, that this WK is a new player, and not the reporter. So it is not the reporter. Or at least not the same one.

Either way, I'm still considering whether to release the footage or not. I mean, neither my face or identify are revealed aside from my voice. So I don't think I have anything to fear. But like Based @AnOminous pointed out, there really is no point revealing her unless we find out what her purpose is and I doubt it's anything more than maybe she's the PD's assistant or something.

And believe me that the footage is nothing special, unless you like cameras pointed at the ground, shaky cam and hot ladies with nice asses in red dresses, helping old ladies like Barb onto cars.

I say if you believe there's the slightest chance she may be using the fame of Chris to whore for attention then just don't upload it. Maybe just send it privately to whoever is going to the trials in the future.

This is an excellent point. There's really nothing to be gained by revealing her identity to the forums at large.

However, I think the photos of both the alleged reporter and the WK should be revealed to any Kiwis planning to attend future trials. This way, they will know who to look out for and, should they see that person heading their way, they can prepare for a confrontation.
