In most people, blood chokes only make you pass out. If the prosecution keeps pushing this, they can just bring up Floyd's conditions, which will just prove the defense's case about the drugs being the thing that killed him, if his system was already frail to start with.
Positional Asphyxia is a bit of a different situation. Really, that's their best angle here, because Chauvin was doing everything to cause this to happen, and Floyd was about the worst possible person to do what he did on. To quote again from an article I linked earlier -

Multiple cases of death by positional asphyxia have been associated with the hog tied or prone restraint position. The risk of positional asphyxia is further compounded when a suspect with predisposing medical conditions becomes involved in a violent struggle with an officer. This is especially true when the physical restraint includes the use of behind-the-back handcuffing combined with placing the individual in a stomach down position. Many law enforcement and health personnel are now taught to avoid restraining people face-down or to do so only for a very short period of time.

Other aspects of how the subject is restrained can also increase the risk of positional asphyxia death. Placing a knee or weight on the subject and particularly any type of restraint hold around the subject’s neck can be problematic. Research measuring the effect of restraint positions on lung function suggests that restraint that involves bending the restrained person or placing body weight on them has a greater effect on breathing than face-down positioning alone.

Positional Asphyxia is also exacerbated by several things. First, heart issues. Floyd had those. Check. Second, influence of drugs - again, check. Weight - check, Floyd was a big guy. And Chauvin did this for 8 minutes. Could Floyd have died of the overdose? Sure. Could Chauvin have killed him (probably unintentionally) through negligence? Also very possible. It's up to the jury.

I never said anything about "feeding the machine", I'm saying it's better to disrupt and sabotage than simply run away.

It's extremely cliché but:
During the vietnam war some bombed military recruiting stations and some faked getting sick to avoid getting drafted. Either way denied the us government one more body for an ill conceived war.

Switzerland and Italy seem like good options as long as they aren't shitholes and don't have no-go zones.
Bro just a heads up but Italy was full of literal herds of African "migrants" bearing counterfeit sunglasses who could be used to determine the location of the Carabinieri at any given time by seeing which direction they moved in mass.

And that was over 10 years ago.

Italy is a mixed bag - Southern Italy is poor as fuck and the Mafia make it their home. Switzerland is uh, not exactly accepting of people who want to become citizens. Direct democracy means they vote on if you're their new neighbor and they're fond of saying '"no". 'No Go Zones' are one of those things everyone rambles and rants about but don't seem to actually exist, unless you consider every single American city as also having "No Go Zones"

Gonna be 1 of 2 possible scenarios: either he gets the Zimmerman treatment and found not guilty, or is found guilty for a very small charge. Either way BLM will perform a peaceful protest on the city and we'll have an inevitable chimpout.

I'm planning on moving to either somewhere in Europe.
There will be no first world countries during this century. If you leave america and migrate to Europe then that's like jumping out of a shit pile and right into a septic tank.

Embrace the suck. There will be no happy options. It's either extreme shit or less shit. If you leave prepare to downgrade. If you stay prepare to experience things getting down graded

Not every city, but there's plenty of places in the US I wouldn't go to.

The hat remains uneaten.
He got really angry and yelled at me the last time I said he didn't eat the hat. 😸

Unless you plan to minecraft bad actors, there is literally nothing you can do.
Well in a completely hypothetical fictional scenario where things really got that bad to the point where citizens of a non-specific country resorted to minecrafting, than that minecrafting is most likely deserved and perhaps even necessary.
