I'm going to be optimistic and make the claim that Jack has maybe two or three more strokes left in him before he dies. Jack just gives me the impression of being one of those guys who should, by all means, die from something health-related by the age of 50 but somehow keeps surviving against all odds.

Though he will gradually decay even more. I can see him having the physical capabilities of Stephen Hawking in ten years and still doing his show, needing Tammy to hit the microwave's buttons and everything else.
I'd be optimistic and say his body lives because of spite too, but he blames it on God and faith--but I also think he's actually just in his early/mid-50s which is pretty young to have as many health problems as he does. He might as well have a bunch of complications from like hard alcoholism for like a decade plus, Id bet he has some fatty-liver shit and maybe heart complications similar to cardiomyopathy. I also remember reading (maybe in this thread) that 50s is when mens health catches up usually, and the average lifespan of men in America is something like early 70s, while women tend to live into the 80s I believe.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the lack of movements people often experience after a stroke caused by the fact that some brain cells died due to loss of oxygen?
How will an electric circuit help that?
You would be surprised by how much the brain can adapt, but most of it is when you're a kid. For example, many people who have a hemispherectomy (half of your brain removed) live normal lives. However, I don't think Jack is going to get out of this one.

Does Jack just assume most of his audience are stroke victims due to the pig slop he shows them how to cook?
It's just yet another example of Jack not staying in his lane after demanding everyone else stay in theirs. There's probably a single digit number of people like unironically like Jack and want updates on his stroked out, atrophied arm. The other 99.99999% of the planet doesn't care and doesn't want to see this type of material on a cooking channel. His arm is gross and disgusting and people don't want to see it associated with food preperation.

The absolute nerve of this fatass, who spent the past few months being condescending towards retail workers, mocking small businesses complying with mask regulations and being a general dick about everything, to post this video on FB asking everyone to be "kinder towards each other":

What an absolute hypocrite. Also, fatty ain’t baking no cookies. He’s going to Crumbl cookie to buy a triple batch. If the neighbor is lucky, they may get one.

The equipment is kinda neat, I guess, but it seems like a loose band-aid over a whole lot of missed physical therapy sessions in terms of its benefit to him.
Not to mention, he's still forgotten about his tech channel, this would fit in far better over there.

He should have spent more time in rehab and less time hoping that God would to magically take care of it. The time to work on his arm was years ago shortly after it happened. His arm is dead because Jack is lazy. Nothing will bring back substantial use to that limb now. I am still amazed that someone could have a serious medical incident and just let a limb die because of sheer laziness.

If this happened to me, I'd be on the phone making rehab appointments before I even leave the hospital bed. I suspect most would be doing the same thing.

And you're right, this belongs on Tech Time and not the main channel. He uploaded the same video to that account, but he shouldn't have put in on the main channel too. He really should have just made a meta channel in the beginning to put Jack on the Go videos, his pointless stroke vlogs, his religious videos, etc. Instead he has a half dozen dead channels with content scattered all over YouTube instead of two.

Tech Time has been pointless since it's inception and shouldn't have been created. There are thousands of better tech channels, and Jack never had the competence or work ethic to be competitive with them. I weirdly follow a bunch of tiny, insignificant tech channels that essentially get no views, and all of them are better than Jack's. (Tiny tech channels weirdly fascinate me because you have a lot of really passionate, eccentric weirdos that churn out content for no particular reason.)

Maybe he subconsciously doesn't want his arm to heal:

-If it heals, Tammy may tell him to get a day-job since the income from his dying channel is drying up.

-If it doesn't heal, then Jack can just fall back on it as an excuse not to get a day job and keep doing his cooking show ad infinitum.
It's likely, I agree. I just have a hard time coming to terms with that being the most likely truth because of his apparent mental capacity. Can he reeeally plan that far ahead, when he could have just as easily, like @stets is saying, not let the Mcfucking arm die?

He's uploading it to both to show off to those haters that he totally isn't just a lazy stupid fat glutton and he's totally trying to make himself a better person. This is just a flex.

And I’m blaming my wine for this! ok so how long has Jack been doing the ‘check for fire?’ thing in reference to the stove? I actually have a really Finicky stove where it’s hard to get a simmer. You do need check if you still got a flame going if you are trying to simmer something for a while.

Did Jack take a nap while making a chili or something and Tammy came home to the smell of gas and bone cold food? Has he always been doing it? Is it his stroked out mind?

I can’t stand his voice so I rely on the breakdowns and it’s weird how much he says it.
It sounds like something my mom would tell me when I was learning how to cook. When I was six.

Don’t see the point of telling an adult hey when you are cooking something make sure it will cook. Sorry for my ted talk bit it just irked me now for some reason... eh it’s probably because I’m pissed at my stove

It’s been discussed, as have the possible reasons that you mentioned. No one really knows why he does it. It’s strange that it’s been in so many videos. It’s one of the weird things along with the meat booger to check if the pan is hot that Jack constantly puts in videos for no discernible purpose.

Whatever's left of the brain will find a way to move the muscle if you work on it long enough. That's what rehab is supposed to be.

Muscle atrophy also happens, though. If the muscle isn't moved, it gradually wastes away until it's too small to move even if you wanted to. If you've got no muscle to move and no brain to move it with, you're pretty much beyond help, and Jack's probably in that category now because of his laziness.

Basically what this means is that rehab is a battle against time to retrain your brain to move muscles before they're too small to move anyway. The electro stim glove is basically supposed to stimulate contractions in the muscle, exercising it to help prevent atrophy and buy time.
