So far I've encountered two major, mutually exclusive, theories about the "Black Lives Matter" movement:
1. That they're just the strong arm/useful idiots of the Democratic Party. In other words - they're nothing more than an extension of a greater will.
2. That they're a barely controllable wild card, whose acts of violence were a happy and convenient surprise to the aforementioned party. As soon as their interests start diverging, "Black Lives Matter" will turn around and, without hesitation, bite the hand that held their leash.

So, my dear American friends... which one of those two is true?
When blm killed 5 cops in Dallas in 2016 Hillary pulled the plug and blm disappeared for almost 4 years. Previously blm was being used to harass Bernie by shitting up rallies and fund raisers by the dnc.

Yeah, well- thats why the other police officers were like "should we do something else, he seems really out of it"

right?
Yeah, and they gave him cpr once they got their shit together. Should they have gotten their shit together sooner? Maybe. But they were in a stressful situation with a hostile crowd gathering. They're only human.

I don't deny that St George may not have died if things had gone down differently, I just don't believe that Chauvin is guilty of 2nd or 3rd degree murder or 2nd degree manslaughter.

If they were going after him for professional misconduct, or wilful neglect or etc etc, I could get behind it, but the charges they've brought rely on malovelence in the first two cases or a reasonable certainlty that his actions would result in death in the manslaughter charge. I don't think either of those mind states are true of Chauvin given he was doing as he'd been trained, within the parameters decided upon by his superiors.

Are the parameters wrong/bad? Sure, it's a stupid control action to be teaching people. There's better ways to do what they intended with less chance of harm arising.

That's not Chauvins fault though. He had every reason to expect that hte training he was given was sufficient and proper to allow him to fulfil his duty

Not really. It's a super high profile trial. They want real time so the prosecution and defense can get to work on it immediately. If you transcribe from audio, it's a slower process, especially if something screws up the quality of the audio. So even with people doing it in shifts, or simultaneously, you do not have instant transcripts. Good stenographers are worth their weight in gold.
Yeah I did some reading about the profession shortly after making my original comment. There's definitely a lot more to it than I originally imagined. The 225 WPM typing requirement blows my mind though.

Chauvins lawyer is surprisingly good. I’m surprised anybody was prepared to take the case. This fire fighter lady is insufferable.
Is he provided by the police union or a private attorney?

EDIT:
Late

lol fattie firelady was calling them names? How retarded are first responders in Minneapolis? Say what you will about NYC but any FDNY employee acting like this cunt would be fired immediately.

Edit: She needs to STFU and stop elaborating during cross, it's not allowed. But I guess the attorney doesn't want tot come off as an asshole to jury by objecting every five minutes either.

In all seriousness the twitter/reddit mob will try to destroy him for doing so good, no matter the outcome, and I think he knows it too. How dare he not lay down and take it like a good boy? Mad props to him for daring to stick up for Chauvin.

I've seen this a couple of times today where the judge has gently reminded witnesses to speak slowly and whatnot due to the stenographer's duty. Does the court reporter not have access to the video or some shit? Seems weird for a trial that's being recorded that they would need it transcribed in real time.

Two reasons:
1. If the judge or either side needs to reference something that just happened, the record is right there, freshly typed in real time.
2. To prevent tampering. Proceedings are written down as they happen. If someone disputes what was written vs what was recorded, edits can be made and a version of both (the original and then the edited one) will be in the archive. Only having the edited one can raise doubts.

Someone said above that he was one of the lawyers who represented Zimmerman so he’s probably already weathered that storm once before and I wouldn’t be surprised if it fueled his fire to stand up to these lunatics even more. Good for him.

Edit: I can’t find a source for him representing Zimmerman actually so double good for him, he will probably have a lucrative career representing the Kyle rittenhouses of the world in the future.

This is one of the same lawyers that Zimmerman had

edit: Zimmerman had more than one lawyer
Eric Nelson? I couldn't find his name connected with Zimzam.

Also, is Ben Crump on the prosecution?

Its so funny to see people like this on the stand. They always assume they're going to get one over on the lawyers, like some kind of "and then everyone clapped" story on reddit. But that's not how court works, there's no room for an epic slam dunk, you either answer the questions as asked or you get lectured by the judge like you're a small, stupid child.

It's great. It's an environment where their gay little tactics they practice on social media and everyday life have absolutely no effect, they crumple up into a little ball. She's clearly on edge, visibly shaking rn

Massad Ayoob has a lesson called "cute lawyer tricks", and he says to never try to play games with a seasoned attorney. They WILL beat your ass.
