Just wanted to share the comment history from this Reddit user, who is having an extremely normal one monitoring the trial megathread.

Her employer would make that call, not anyone at court. Firefighters and EMTs don't get called in to testify as often as police but they do.
Oh I was just making a snide comment about how uniformed police aren't often held to that standard of conduct due largely to the power of their unions, but to be fair, the four officers involved in Floyd's death were all fired the next day.

They live in another society, on another planet, with different everything. They have absolutely no understanding or context for anything that isn't spoon fed to them through their preferred media sources.
It's called hyperreality, where the reality they live in is crafted by the screen they stare at rather than looking up and around them.

its like normies and twitter trannies live on an entire different world

the other world is shows about drag queens and other similar vapid things where the strongest argument one can make relies entirely on how good you can sass your opponent, regardless of the content of your actual argument. These people would support un-ironical pedophilia if whoever is making the argument isn't a white male and is slotting in jokes and sass as much as possible in-between sentences

Im getting annoyed at that judge constantly fixing his mask. Regardless of your feelings on mask, why the fuck can't you get a properly fitting one when you know you need to wear it regularly?

Beyond that he's seems pretty based. Here's to hoping he doesn't Chupp it up
I have yet to find a mask that doesn't slip down my face every 30 seconds, I have tried many at different levels of tightness. Shit doesn't work. Fuck it.

How could she not believe that?

Does she think that medics just wander the streets like vilgilantes and hope they stumble into a situation where they're needed?

That police will just ask "Is anyone here a doctor?" when an issue comes up during an arrest?

That's how it works on the TeeVee, don't ya know?

And those twitter stories where at the end everybody on the train claps

how dare you question her listen and believe

I bought some from old navy that work great for me. Beyond that, you could get a custom one made.

I can't even tell what the judge is wearing on mobile. Looks like a damn turtle shell.

Fat Kamala being scolded by the court

This is one of the most high profile cases in history and we are taking the people's time and money
to scold this adult women like a school girl, she knew the rules and said she's done this for 20 years.
Kick her out or don't but for fuck sake get on with the case.

Honestly, I can see how she thought this. What I want to know is what the hell the prosecution was thinking. My running guess is that for some reason the prosecution thought the defense was going to roll over and take it.

It does align with their opening arguments though. Those are where you put forth your case, get it in the mind of the jury to frame their view, and ideally where you seed in a few zingers that the defense simply won't be able to overcome. Yet every single element of their opening statement is going to be challenged, some of it was simply untrue. You don't put that forth if you think you'll have any resistence.

Their level of delusion is insane, and I don't even know if they realize it. The #1 defense the media's using right now in convicting Chauvin is there'll be riots if he's not found guilty. They're literally endorsing mob rule.
I mean you're talking about the same people who want a legal system where guilt or innocence is determined by weather or not LeBron James plays with a ball.

I can only assume the prosecution got itself a bit lost in the whole "WE ALREADY WON HES A MONSTER" twitter-mindset. If critical thinking gets you cancelled, then anyone who may raise a concern in a normal environment is going to keep quiet even if they know better. This is what happens when everyone on your side forcibly celebrates victory before the battle is over.

looks like kamala's fat sister was caught taking a photo of the Jury

assuming that photo leaks (most likely will) Chauvin is done
I voted mistrial and I'm feeling pretty secure with that now

edit: the judge made it sound like the picture was taken down the hall at the elevators which probably won't cause a mistrial
