I'm not an American citizen, so my view is certainly skewed, but never have I seen a single radical leftist movement ever back down, instead of doubling down, no matter how ridiculous their cause may seem. Whether Mr. Chauvin walks or gets sentenced to jail makes no difference. The self-righteous anger exhibited by Black Lives Matter and their ilk requires no further kindling, nor even an excuse at this point. Just a place and time. The riots will happen, one way or another.

EDIT: Good to see another person that knows to wear a suit to court. I got called in for jury selection, didn't even get picked, and I knew that I should probably dress my best for court and thus borrowed a suit from someone.
