At this point it feels like they're grasping at so many straws trying to find a "gotcha" they are just going to try and convict the entire police deparmtnet + the medics that treated Floyd

Not only do none of the other police + medics matter

Them causing any blame for them makes it EASIER on Chauvin's defense because he can point to them and go "their fault, not mine."

Oh, is the defense establishing that the crowd of people surrounding Chauvin fucked with the medical attention George should have recieved?

Yes. Without the near-rioting crowd of junkies and karens and coal burning whores, they could have started CPR immediately and the like.

Remember that Antifa and BLM spent all last year "de-arresting" people. That is, mobbing cops who were arresting their little terrorist buddies and disrupting the arrest, getting people away from the cops and back into the Black Bloc so they could try and murder more feds. Every cop in the fucking country has been trained, even unofficially, to be on the lookout to fucking chimpouts rushing you while you try and take down one of their fellow chimps.

Gimme the play-by-play. Wtf just happened?
Basically the prosecution just spent an hour going painstakingly through the policies (you have to submit a use of force report, you have to give a suspect medical attention if the medics haven't arrived), and the defense came in and said, "Look at this other part of the policy. They had to be practical. If you're surrounded by a crowd of people, even if the suspect is no longer resisting, don't you have to choose between keeping the scene safe and giving immediate medical attention?" And the supervisor admitted he would pay attention to potential threats first.

Well in a way they kind of did. How would the officers know if one of them would wind up shooting them while dealing with Floyd? The way the articulate nigger (the one with the fucking stupid-ass socks) who was repeating himself kept getting closer to the cops and acting aggressive, it looked like a fist fight would have taken place.

Imagine a prosecution so inept that as they're making their own case, you're becoming less and less convinced of the guilt of the defendant.

You don't need to be a lawyer to have an opinion about how good a case is being made. Just put yourself in the position of a juror seeing this shit, and drop yourself down at least 20 IQ points to the level of someone too dumb to get out of jury duty, and imagine what you'd think.
This shitshow is already settled and the best way to reduce damage is to be on the cops good grace unless they want the unwashed masses in front on the elite houses screaming say his name or whatever stupid chant they have now

I only just tuned in and have seen only a few key moments of this case, but my God does the court reek of incompetence. From the attorneys to the witnesses, there's just a palpable air of retardation. The ineptitude is really jarring especially from the prosecution.

The woman doing the Prosecuting has been basically falling down a flight of stairs for more than 6 hours now with blunder after blunder with her witnesses

I don't know if this is sad or amazing, but this thread is acting more civil than the prosecution and 4chan.
I almost think in the future, at some point after the furor has died down, this absolute clownshoes bullshit joke of a prosecution will be used as an example in law school of how to fuck up a prosecution.

If they actually get a conviction on homicide here, I'll eat my hat actually not be that surprised, though.

Don't forget the fucking judge. If he's isn't getting his dick sucked or at least snarfing down cheeseburgers in all these breaks I'll be severely disappointed in him

Countdown to BlueAnon conspiracy theories on the prosecution being staffed by white supremacists throwing the case on purpose?
At this point, I kinda think they are. They must know by now they don't have a chance of convicting him with anything substantial, which is prolly why they haven't put their A-Team on the prosecution either.

They'll let Chauvin walk or give him a pretty minor sentence and blame it all on White Supremacy as usual. People on Twitter will whine about it for a few weeks, we get our chuckles for about as long, and cities all over the country burn and everyone forgets about it next month.

And the fist fight would have taken place between Mr. Boxing Gym and Officer Asian, who was Chauvin's partner.

It's amazing the prosecution is doing this. It's actually recommended that if you're the party that goes first, you bring out discreditable things about your witness lest the other side be the first to bring them up, making you look dishonest, but they're not only bringing it up, they're going out of their way to make him look bad. For instance, if you want to bring out drug stuff, you want to bring it out in a sympathetic way like he's a sad, wayward soul struggling with inner demons, not "lawdy lawdy he sho loved him some of dem O P yoids! He was just gobblin dem pills by de handful."
Right, and I think you should bring that info out ASAP so that hopefully by the end of the day, the jury hopefully have forgotten most of that amongst everything else. They are just so shit at pulling out the response they want, and that's been a consistent thing throughout the trial. They try the emotive shit on the deadpan EMTs/ambulance guys who really want to gtfo of the trial and go about their lives. The emotive shit they do pull out factually is of little value or hurts their case.

fentanyl has been put in fake percocet for almost 10 years now as far as I know. Its cheap and effective people OD on it constantly. Any druggie will tell you this.

yep, it all comes down to the opiate density, since fentanyl is 20x as potent as heroin, pound for pound it is easier to get in. then the distributors put it through a pill press and make it look like an oxycontin or percocet. they generally do try to measure it out so it approximates the strength of what it appears as, but when dealing with microgram doses, you have to be extremely precise.

Here's the day 3 recap for those just catching up.

Some of these breaks are probably to hash out issues in sidebar that are threatening to turn this into a mistrial.

FLoyd's Girlfriend, and the helpful old man were the most damning, cause they basically showed that Floyd was a resisting uber druggie, who didn't even want to be helpful, and fought with fucking everything during the arrest.

Hey @AnOminous , I wanna ask for your knowledge on this: if the prosecutor brings specific charges, can the jury go "not theses charges, but lesser ones instead"? (Be found guilty of manslaughter instead of murder?)
