I cannot even imagine continuing to work for federal or local government after this. They send you in and place your life in grave danger, then praise the people that tried to kill you.
This kind of shit shouldn't even be a left/right issue, it should be are you a fucking enemy of all life and a fucking retard or are you a remotely sane person?

-fought orders every second of the arrest
-"I can't breathe" multiple times while not being touched and standing
-begged to be put on the ground and got his wish
-6'4 and 224 lbs so cops couldn't just hold him down
-the base of the neck is extremely structurally strong and the esophagus is nowhere near it
-90° twisting of the neck and craning head up both makes that point even stronger and is exhausting for Floyd's already struggling system
-several times the lethal amount of a drug cocktail in his system
Bro absolutely died from being a retard with drugs, our legal system is a joke

It's not our legal system. It's our culture.

We have a culture that absolutely will NOT allow people to consider the fact that this giant black guy who was high off his tits committing multiple felonies was anything other than a great and noble savage who could literally do no wrong. That the cop that had been doing his job for literal decades could literally know what to do with a drugged out junkie and instead must have been a secret white nationalist who hated the noble savages.

You are NOT allowed to recognize that there's a problem with crime in urban areas. That there's a racial component to crime rates. That there's hundreds if not thousands of Floyds in every single major city, more in blue ones.

And because we're not allowed to trust our lying eyes, we have to go through this kabuki theater where we have to pretend that Floyd was a literal fucking saint and we have to find some way to explain why Chauvin did what he did to such an innocent boy wot dindu nuffin.

And this will keep happening until some rich white woman is affected publicly enough that it shocks the other rich white women back into reality. Something like a gang rape and murder on livestream, or a home invasion in a gated community.

He should be called and asked why he did nothing just for the jury to see that, because he's the most culpable person at that scene. Even if he cites the 5th Amendment he should be called. I mean what's his defense, I let my pal die because racism? Give me a fucking break, the jury needs to hear that.
Floyd's buddy/dealer be like

Can't even talk about this Case to anyone in person to like co workers or whatever, without risk of being held for "WRONG THINK"

Its so fucking toxic

"Do you ignore the threat and give medical attention, or do you give medical attention and ignore the threat?"
pretty good summation by Nelson of the decisions they had to make on the spot. The supervisor admits you have to do both, with preference to eliminating the threat.

When this whole shitshow began i was under the impression that it was an overreaction, but Derek should be convicted of at least manslaughter, however trough these 4 days the prosecutors have absolutely convinced me he did no fucking wrong trough the sheer magnitude of their incompetence at arguing otherwise
Imagine a prosecution so inept that as they're making their own case, you're becoming less and less convinced of the guilt of the defendant.
I mean, I suppose the jury could still somehow be convinced it was murder if as a collective they're retarded enough. But idk shit about law
You don't need to be a lawyer to have an opinion about how good a case is being made. Just put yourself in the position of a juror seeing this shit, and drop yourself down at least 20 IQ points to the level of someone too dumb to get out of jury duty, and imagine what you'd think.

Oh, is the defense establishing that the crowd of people surrounding Chauvin fucked with the medical attention George should have recieved?
If I was on the Defense I would have pointed out that not only was FLoyd a big strong tweeking druggie, but also that a crowd of annoying possible dangerous people surrounding them, would have given intense stress to the officers trying to handle it

That would be very hard for the prosecution to over come that. With a crowd of angry people getting close they were unable to provide direct medical assistance to Floyd.

Not only that but the extra and new footage just shows how fucking insane Floyd was off his rocker, as well as the force needed to detain him, and how his bullshit he pulled before was just that, bullshit he used before
