This is especially true with the 7.3 powestroke. It's a solid engine, but it has a rep for being difficult to start in the cold. A well maintained 7.3 would likely not have too much issue around 40 degrees, but they've clearly bought a piece of shit. I predict they'll probably burn out the starter motor at some point trying to get it to crank in the cold.
I can already taste the water and diesel in the oil

Its a poor design by ford with the "WAIT TO START" light. When it shuts off that doesn't mean the glowplugs are done or its good to go. You have to know to watch the volt gauge or for the dome light to get brighter. If it hasn't been plugged in and you start cranking as soon as the WAIT TO START light goes out you will fail and end up with dead batteries. Also good fucking luck trying to jump a dead one with cheap jumper cables.

COLO. REV. STAT. § 35-42-103. Definitions:

“Neglect” means failure to provide food, water, protection from the elements, or other care generally considered to be normal, usual, and accepted for an animal’s health and well-being consistent with the species, breed, and type of animal. -

“Accepted animal husbandry” means practices generally recognized as appropriate in the care of animals consistent with the species, breed, and type of animal.

It seems to my layman's understanding that they are indeed engaging in neglect in accordance with the definitions set forth within the law. It's surely been addressed before but is worth repeating with these lambs coming in fast.

God, I don't want to fucking A-log, but Jesus Christ I hope someone reports them to the cops and they get their animals taken away

lmao who the fuck buys a 1995 diesel truck when they possess zero mechanical aptitude or automobile knowledge? What the fuck is wrong with these people? (rhetorical questions)

Also, lol at the use of "chud." Corny ass leftoids have neutered their language -- they're not "allowed to" use blunt time-tested insults like "faggot" and "retard" so they revert to these lame weightless meme-tier expressions.
CHUD is a good horror movie, the sequel, CHUD II: Budd the Chud, well, not as good.

I just wonder if they're going to know to use DEF in any of their diesel vehicles.

Finally, something that I can sperg about.

Been lurking for ages. Diesel vehicles and 30 y/o cars are my thing. That 7.3 is an okay engine, but the IDI that came before it was indestructible. 2 wheel drive seems like a horrible idea for a ranch vehicle. Diesel is pointless unless you need to tow very large trailers. Not like they have any other farms to visit. A much better choice for them would have been a toyota tundra or a nissan hardbody. Both are small trucks that will cost them much less in the long run. Even a small block American half-ton would be simpler.

I wonder what they did to mess up that GM. Newer diesel trucks have to reach full operating temperature occasionally or else the computer will throw it into "limp mode" until the soot is cooked out of the exhaust system. I almost want to reach out to them concerning "Penny" to see if I can dig up more info.

As they say on the Cummins forums, you have to pay big to play big. I guess it's easier when your benefactors will bend to your every whim.

Bonus: You can really abuse an IDI diesel https://youtu.be/WBOP-oKS560

It really does make you bullet proof in a way that a sociopath could only dream of. You could shoot up an entire elementary school because the voices in your head claimed the 8 year olds were TERFS and the papers and news would still bend over backwards not to relate being a lunatic troon to whatever misdeeds you performed. 10/10 scam.

You mean, just like the FTM troon who did a school shooting in 2019, killed a person and injured 8, went to prison for life? But you never really heard about, because unlike the way other school shootings get splashed ALL OVER the media it just kinda...went away?

When this thread was still part of Kevin's thread, the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch of Colorado reported that the sheriff came to the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch of Colorado because someone told the police the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch of Colorado was abusing their animals.

The tranchers claim the sheriff said "nothing to see here," and everyone clapped.

This supposedly went down when 9news was there doing a piece on the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch of Colorado but I don't think we ever got actual proof.

I find it hard to believe. Also fuck nulls feelings on Google SEO, and fuck the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch of Colorado. They happily provide mountains of photo evidence of their animals suffering and it makes my head spin that their followers love it.

Fascists have a reputation of being kind to animals, I assume the same is true for Invisible Fascists, so they probably don't want to wake up the lambs in the middle of the night. Once they all died from neglect, I'm sure the raids will continue.

To be fair, old diesel farm trucks are actually a scientific aberration. They function on orc logic. If it looks like a truck, it'll run. It has no doors. No hood. Covered in rust. The trunk is held on by bungie cables. It's being driven poorly in stick shift by a Mexican guy named Thomas who speaks English fluently but pretends not to to get out of work, and he's carrying 200 more pounds of fertilizer in the back than the truck was made for in it's prime. It'll run. It might get stuck. Put in in 4 wheel drive. It'll run. You're born into this world with 3 things for certain. Death. Taxes. And that car running. It shouldn't. But it does.

So what the fuck have they done that killed a brand new farm truck?

Also the gearshift's paint is gone completely so the numbers are now scratched into the metal, and there is always one entirely unguessable thing you need to do before you can start the thing, because there is no longer any key, just a screwdriver to jam into the ignition.

God the first time I had to drive one of those monsters I didn't even know how to shift.
