Ironically he was actually more mature 10 years ago than he is today. He actually went to a real job and actually interacted with real friends/people. Sure his humor was always pretty immature but its even less mature now- he went from sexual and race related jokes to poop and butt jokes. Its like he went from high school humor to elementary school level humor. And then there's the shit like playing dress-up, blowing bubbles, spinning his chair, etc... that is extremely immature and meant to entertain children.

I can already see his excuses:
"I played chess in HIGHSCHOOL, the people who play on Lichess have been playing 20+ years"

So basically it would be all his Fightcade excuses only swapped with chess.

The best part of his fightcade excuses is always the macro controllers one. Literally got linked to a post of him whining about that on his forums right after seeing a video of him losing to a Honda in the anniversary port of SF2 and whining that he was blatantly using a turbo controller.

That's... not what a "gig economy job" means, Phil.

I mean, kudos for trying to use a big boy word he just learned and all, but, a gig job just means that they're not contracted employees with a guaranteed hourly wage and whatever other benefits that might bring, like health insurance and job security (unless you're in a fuck-you state). They're "independent contactors" working for the company, as opposed to being employees of that company, with the protections that come along with that. It has absolutely nothing to do with being competent or qualified, as evidenced by the fact that companies have supposedly hired Phil as a full-time employee in the past.

You think the 16 year-old stoner who works part-time as a delivery driver for the nearby pizza place went to pizza delivery driver school? You think he had to obtain his pizza delivery certification before they'd hire him? How many years did Kat spend at Grocery Store Clerk Academy before she was qualified for her current job?

But, maybe that was just the definition of "gig economy job" in Phil's textbook when he was learning the definition of the word 20 years ago, so it's not his fault.

I think that's my favorite part about Phil shitting on other workers in different fields: That he's the absolute worst at his job to the point where almost no one watches him except for people trying to "own the trolls" which is more related to his little cult mentality than his streaming "skills".

DSP if you were a door dash driver I bet over half your reviews would be 1 star and you'd be unable to get jobs in no time. I mean you've been fired from pretty much every job you've ever had.

This is what boils my peanut about him. He can make all the mistakes in the world and have 100s of excuse lined up; depression, money, stress, lag, bad controls etc etc.

But the moment someone inconveniences him or messes up around him it is straight to the chopping block. There is not a single moment of thought for anyone beside himself.

-Mention what you're doing tomorrow with said wife (i.e. fun stuff)
-Mention it's a "day off" as to give off the illusion of work
-Possibly add a task perceived as dull, boring, unexciting, and broad like "errands" or "grocery shopping" so you can beg for money the following week

I doubt he visits any places his wife would want to go to as well unless he's forced to like the REEmergency with Leanna. If for whatever reason he does, it's almost likely food related, anything else isn't worth his time, he's got a busy schedule and can't do many things during the week at all!
