Its actually questionable whether or not his kids will ever see a dime of this money. IRRC the city settled with whatever constitutes as his "family" for 27million or something absurd like that, which sounds like a lot of money until you start reading up on what the lives of the families of the other BLM "Saints" and their families are like.

Tamir Rice, Mike Brown I think even Trayvon Martin's mothers basically had to split the money with various nebulous baby daddy's and what not, and thats before all the Sharpton's and Ben Crumps and "Community Organizers" come with their hands out now that you OWE them a cut for making your dead ex-con a civil rights icon. The Movement needs that money to keep going so how much you finna' donate? Then black "families" are fucking gigantic hives of cousins and half brothers and uncles and nephews and nieces and baby mommas and daddy's and they are all going to come at you with their hands out. Oh, then you need to start your OWN initiative or foundation to try and capitalize off of your sudden fame. A lot of these families that get these gigantic settlements are like lottery winners, they end up broke in a couple years, or the kids see none of it, or it gets grifted away from them.

They really should make some kind of reality TV show about it.
trump pardoned that black woman, had her tell her story ob national tv and the black community threatened to make her persona non grata if she talked about it again.

havent heard from her since have you? the grift is cut throat.

e: theres a good chance a black "investment manager" will pop around and talk finances. that could be anything from a guy with the series 7 credentials to a guy who knows how to use the robinhood app.

Do you mind running down the particulars of the OJ case? That case was such a shit show I wouldn’t know what you meant if I looked into it.
too much to actually say in one post, go find a good documentary or mini-series, there's a million and they're all kino. but what's important to know beyond the fact OJ 10000000000000% did it, is that the prosecution was so sure of their case they put in no effort, and that a very well-crafted and canny defense exploited this to get not guilty. people think it's just le dumb jury, but it's a massive failure by prosecution and the work of an all-star defense

I don't know how to make the video appear in the comment
the insert video up in the options it prompts to attach files that appear in-post

on the subject ofBlack Women bringing religion into courts: that story was included with several others in Face to Face With Race, a collection of American Renessiance articles. I love this collection of names one lawyer collected.

Face to Face with Race is such an amazing book.

Agreed. He had been pointing out serious flaws in the prosecution's case well before the trial started, and as he's continuing to point out, the prosecution has not only failed to plan or address these problematic parts of the case, they seem to be going out of their way to dig the holes even deeper.

They might still win with this particular jury, but the case they have put on is shit and it is almost like they haven't even thought about the weaknesses in their case, beyond a general recognition that they probably can't prove the most serious counts, so they're focusing on the depraved heart and manslaughter type counts. That is actually a reasonable strategy in general, that is, keeping in the more serious counts so the jury thinks they're "compromising" if they find a lesser form of homicide.

I think they're even pretty weak on those, though.

I believe this is the defense's case to lose, though. They have a lot of openings and if they play them right, they have reasonable doubt, at least unless this jury is so hopelessly biased they have already made up their minds beyond reason.

I always think of To Kill a Mockingbird when Atticus Finch has more or less outright proven his client was innocent and the jury convicts anyway, and he knew from the start this was what was going to happen but did his best anyway. Ironic it's a cop on this side this time.
I wish I was a southern jew lawyer with a tomboy daughter and I can stomp the shit out of her retarded mafia boyfriend

orangejello and lemonjello have been passed around a lot so i'm calling bullshit.

I mean, the prosecution might as well have put Uncle Ruckus on the stand for all the good their other witnesses have done them.
What I love about Aaron McGruder and his comedic vision is that despite his own very strong views, he is entirely capable of understanding and expressing the views of the opposition without just making it a complete strawman. Uncle Ruckus is a great character because he actually expresses opinions McGruder himself obviously doesn't agree with, but he isn't just some moron. He is actually allowed to make some points.

Ironically, despite being virulently racist against his own race, something very similar to how white SJWs behave, it's DuBois who is the worst race traitor in the show. A dude so terrified of being ass-raped in jail (despite sending black people to jail all the time himself) that he never, ever breaks even the smallest law. He's afraid of speeding.

I love McGruder's razor-sharp grasp on the hypocrisy and stupidity of American race politics.

How does that work? I already thought the anonymity was at risk because anyone close to them is going to realize they haven't gone to work for a month... Now they aren't going home for a month either?

Totally unsurprisingly, it doesn't work.
The ultimate goal is to prevent the jury being influenced DURING the trial. After, all bets are off. That's when witness protection would come in play, something totally separate.
