First of all, what the fuck is up with these product photos. All of them have this weird fucking blur on them. If I'm buying yarn I want to see the god damn fibres. As pointed out already, some of the skeins have visible dog/cat fur on them which is just gross. If I'm buying bespoke yarn on etsy, I want it to come from a smoke free environment with preferably no pets being near the product.

They can't even skein it nicely. Additionally they've named a whole bunch of their yarn "colours" which is fine I guess but what they really are are undyed skeins. That means there's going to be some variation between them. Just call them fucking natural or undyed.
Now onto the dye. Holy fuck what the ever loving God is this low effort shit. Let alone the fact this is absolutely hideous, they also clearly don't have a fucking clue what they're doing. It's inconsistent and barely noticeable.
I think they were going for having one part of the yarn dyed whilst the other part is natural. A lot of dyers will have a base colour with an accent streak like follows:
If you want your colours to come through, you want to be working with a light coloured yarn. It also looks like they've just painted a weak acid dye on part of it and called it a day rather than dyeing in a bath or leave it for enough time for the dye to take. It looks like they've splatted the dye on (not saturating the yarn properly) didn't leave it for long and then when they washed the yarn, all the dye came out. I've only dyed a couple of times but even my attempts were better than this. And it's overpriced to hell.

Oh yeah, can't wait to knit with... swamp water. Beautiful! I hope they do an amhole orange next.
So here is their undyed milk chocolate yarn.
Or for just a couple of dollars more, I can get three times as much yarn which is consistently spun, a nicer looking colour and much higher quality.
