FYI the Episcopal are barely considered Christians and if they existed in the 1900s they would be viewed as being in direct contradiction to Christ.

The Episcopal Church has existed since the 1700s. Before that, they were just the Church of England, which has been around since 597, though polemicists usually propose a later date because a sovereign who attempted to effect its independence was an unpleasant person. (In fact, it was his daughter who achieved the independence of the church.) As for being "barely considered Christians," I guess that depends on who you ask. There are people who barely consider Catholics, Orthodox, Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals, etc. Christians--or outright deny that they are Christians. I find that such "considerations" are usually based on myths, cherry-picking bad actors, or an unreasonably exclusive definition of "Christian." And people who make these judgments are usually blind to the faults of their own communities. Mote and a beam and all that.

They even voted to allow ministers to be gay.

Are there any major denominations that do not allow ministers to be gay? If so, how do they enforce this? How do they even detect a gay minister, especially one who is celibate? Penile plethsymographs and pornography? Exposure to showtunes? Sting operations with cooperating altar boys?

All the major news outlets have the Chief saying that Chauvin broke regulations as the top headlines.

The shoulder blade thing is going to get drowned out.
It blows my mind how single-minded all these commentators are being.
Won't have any impact on the trial itself. Just more groundwork for the riots to come. And they're inevitable by this point.
Right. It’s supremely irresponsible of every reporter, but it means the salt yield will be glorious if this trial concludes with a full Nelson.

Just got home. Was just listening to the woman cop.
So now we have a job hopper PR face on the stand.
Can't wait until Nelson rips her aparat.

"This is horrific. Watching over and over again."

So you're saying you keep watching repeats of a Powerful Black American getting murdered, my fellow Redditor? Very racist of you, if I may say so. Do you derive sick pleasure from seeing the death of a Powerful Black American?

But, to be serious - this has to be a troll.

God, these people are insatiable. I know it comes without saying, but nothing that was revealed in this trial would ever make a difference to them. They chose their side and they are cheerleading anyone that supports their already established viewpoint, no matter how insignificant of evidence it may be. If this doesn't show everyone that this was never about truth and justice but just about us vs. them then there's just no hope.
