If he gets immunity, he can't plead the fifth, since he wouldn't be able to incriminate himself in a situation where he's not criminally liable for anything. He would be compelled to testify and tell the truth of everything that happened that day (including the many questions the defense would use to kneecap the prosecution). This is why the prosecution wants him to keep using his 5th amendment rights.

The statistic was like 19k from the survey you're probably citing and that was like 15% of the rapes white women face. A whopping 75% (88k) of rapes on white women come from white men (meanwhile black women are raped 75% of the time by black men). And the reasons that the number is nonexistent on the reverse side is because for the stats you're citing, there were 10 or fewer sample cases surveyed, so the whole thing is bunk to begin with. I remember this whole stink being raised about these stats because David Duke shared them a few years ago.
I honestly wouldn't know. I guess it all depends on what the results of this mock trial are going to be and how willing the Democrats are in reeling in their military arm of the party.

Imagine trying to do everything right in your life, you put in the hours, you did your job, you ended up an actual judge, a dude in a robe who gets to decide other people's fates. And then you're thrust into this fucking shitstorm, where you have the choice of getting lynched by angry groid mobsters or actually presiding over a fair trial. And no matter what you do, no matter what you believe, you are presiding over some serious bullshit. A show trial. And if it turns out not being a show trial and the defendant walks (or even just doesn't get a homicide conviction), then the city you live in burns to the ground.
The judge has to let him testify now, especially with the dealers own attorney outright saying his testimony could implicate him in Floyds murder. That goes on the record even if the Jury will not hear it. That alone would warrant an immediate appeal for Chauvin if the guy is not put on the stand.
Either in their safe spaces or doing the killings themselves.
