I once said that to a friend who went down the commie rabbit hole. Their response was "the peasants revolt was done using the farming tools their masters gave them" and wouldn't accept that bending over for corporations is very different from using the tools avaliable to overthrow feudal lords

The peasants in 1912 might have been able to take their plowshares and beat them into swords, but in 2021 if the commies ever actually threatened woke capital they'd wake up to find every single twitter, facebook, youtube, discord, bank, credit card, and paypal account they had disabled overnight, and the FBI knocking on their door despite their super sekrit do notsteal commie larp parties on Signal.

Oh, and their daddies credit cards would but cut off too, so...

It looks like some pagan tribal shrine to a dark god.
If that's enough to qualify, then this may as well have been unearthed at the Mountains of Madness.

In what way? The case is very cut and dry as far as murder goes and even manslaughter would be a leap.

The only thing going against Chauvin is the jury potentially having drank the koolaid. If that's the case then the verdict is a forgone conclusion anyway.
Because the prosecution is going to bring out a fuckton of medical experts still that are all going to say the knee on the neck caused it, and Chauvin's smug fucking face is still the first thing most people think when they see the video.

Thats a mountain to climb, don't set urself up for disappointment. Set yourself up to be pleasantly surprised.

Good grief this line of questioning from the prosecution, neck, neck, neck, carotid, carotid, neck...

I'm waiting for some spectacular winning move from them where they reveal that George Floyd was born with a strange defect causing his carotid artery to be located on the back of his neck. I mean, it's about the only thing that makes sense from the line of questioning.

Imagine being the prosecutor getting this land on your desk.

The public and media are seemingly 100% on your side. You will be in all the national and international media. You will be given more resources you could possibly ever want. If you knock it out of the park this will be the piece you can ride to move into higher and higher political office.

Then you get started.

Every single witness is being dismantled by a defence. You are being made to look inept on every media chanel. The mob is starting to think you're letting the defendant off purposely. You will be the scapegoat that the administration will feed to the mob.

This is the case that could set you up for life but now your career is done and you're probably going to need to change your name and flee before the mob get you.

No injuries to the neck, but good to know you have insider information as to what experts will testify to.

Interesting thing with this this force expert that I noticed while catching up is that he gave evasive answers even to the prosecution on redirect.

"Would it be appropriate to escalate force because of bystanders holding phones?"
"Not just because of the phones, no."

He could have just said "No," but he wanted to be clear for the jury that there could be other factors that would justify escalation. He seemed pretty neutral and matter of fact under questioning by both sides.

IDK, it seems more and more like George Floyd's family is going to have to pay Chauvin the 27 million dollar settlement after all this is done.

Can Chauvin turn around and sue as well for wrongful termination/trying to throw him under the bus if charges come up innocent? Watching them pay out ANOTHER 25 mil would be hilarious.

Anyways did the dealer get immunity or not? Is he gonna testify?

That's still a pretty neutral answer. The question was clearly an attempt to rope him into saying the words "No escalation of force was not justified".

Dodging clearly baited questions by adding clarifying details is true neutral.

So far virtually every single witness or expert summoned by prosecution, except, perhaps, for the last one on Friday hearing, has been pretty damning to the prosecution side. Hell, their actions should tell you the most and the fact is: the prosecution is relying ENTIRELY on the narrative of Chauvin not providing Floyd enough help. So even in the worst-case scenario, we're looking at something like a suspended sentence or short incarceration.

Isn't the prosecution the entire state of Minnesota though? That would mean that if the state can't prosecute Chauvin, then the mob would be going after the entire state that they live in... basically a "state-wide chimp-out" if you will.
