How is it possible for the prosecution to shoot themselves in the foot this frequently? You would think they would catch on by now.
Since each shot is a new thing, I think we are seeing the results of buying into the narrative. I think.... I think the prosecution legitimately believed all the bullshit pressed by the press about how every single element of defense for Chauvin was wrong.

Imagine being the prosecutor getting this land on your desk.

The public and media are seemingly 100% on your side. You will be in all the national and international media. You will be given more resources you could possibly ever want. If you knock it out of the park this will be the piece you can ride to move into higher and higher political office.

Then you get started.

Every single witness is being dismantled by a defence. You are being made to look inept on every media chanel. The mob is starting to think you're letting the defendant off purposely. You will be the scapegoat that the administration will feed to the mob.

This is the case that could set you up for life but now your career is done and you're probably going to need to change your name and flee before the mob get you.
The public is so polarised that one's apparent performance in an argument is based almost entirely on how much the viewer agrees with them (because fundamental difference in values=difference in evaluation of virtually everything). I'm sure "the mob" thinks the prosecution is "spittin' fire" or however they phrase it, just like how the Michael Van Der Ween receives universal adulation on the Right while the Left is wondering if Trump should sue him for malpractice.

He got the point across he needed. I imagine most people had no idea how potent Fentanyl is, I certainly didn't.
There's been a ton of scare stories in the past few years, talking about "A GRAIN OF FENTANYL CAN KILL AN ELEPHANT" or "POUND OF FENTANYL SEIZED IN DRUG STING, ENOUGH TO KILL TOWN OF 50000 PEOPLE!!", but those have tapered down recently. Pure coincidence I'm sure.

It will be the same comments when it gets to the ME and pathology expert witnesses. "Oh my god they only have 5 advanced degrees and 20 years experience, how could they let such unqualified people comment".

Its the usual "I fucking love science, believe experts (except when they disagree with us)" that redditors go in for.

Trial will continue through next week confirmed

Cop chick is coming back for the defense sometime next Tuesday
