I stopped following a lot of breakcore artists because of things like this. Seems like the hyper spastic and aggressive genre is attracting a lot of #damaged Joker wannabe deviants. I mean, just look at the catalog of breakcore artists out there. Goreshit is considered normal when half of his music is lolicore. Igorrr seems to be the only person out of the lot who seems to be an average human being (pretty poetic considering he's French).

it doesn't seem like his popularity has suffered at all despite how many avenues there are to go at him from. 435k monthly listeners on spotify is nothing to scoff at. i think it helps that most of his fanbase is already dysgenic incels who probably have right wing leanings (and also probably jerk off to lolis). hard to come at him from the "bro he said the N word in 2017!!" angle when that's not what his core listener base cares about.

This has nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with pedos. Nobody on the right is gonna defend child exploitation just because the same person doing it put Niggerz as an album name.

that's not what i said. i'm speaking from the perspective of someone who's seen that people with left leaning fanbases are much more prone to being successfully cancelled over transgressions similar to sewerslvt's, while sewerslvt himself is continuing to have success without much standing in his way. that, to me, shows that there's some sort of divide that is partially political in nature between sewerslvt's fanbase and the fanbases of those who actually have had their careers stunted by scandals like his.

but okay, if you don't think it's political at all, then that's fine. i only said that specifically because of his racist past. my point was that none of this seems to be affecting him because of a difference in values between the part of his fanbase that is openly against what he has done and his fanbase at large. but i think you agree with the dysgenic incel part so not really like there's much else in contention there.

Oddly enough, his uploads show up in youtube's 'watch next' tab when viewing fashwave and regular synth music. That's how I ended up discovering it.
