Isn't the appeal of ghost guns that you can make them yourself, or that you can buy them outside the regular market? I don't understand what requiring background checks would do for those types of guns. It's like saying everyone who sells weed illegally has to have a background check—it's missing the point entirely, unless I'm misunderstanding what the deal with ghost guns is.

Hell, that's just a weekend of target shooting out here in the desert. Although with the scarcity/price of ammo lately, we've had to cut back a fair bit.
I once had a rich chick I was dating look at me and say "Slappy, a million dollars is NOT a lot of money!" and I laughed my ass off at her. Same applies here - 1000 rounds of ammo is NOT a lot of ammo. Especially if you have multiple weapons and different calibers. In Minecraft (of course), I have a couple thousand rounds of sealed battle packed 7.62 as a reserve. Add 9mm, 45, 38, 5.56 and shotgun shells into the mix and I don't know what the total number actually is, but I'll say this - it's still not enough when the feces gets shoveled into the whirring blades. And when that happens, we'll all wish we had an armory and a bigger stockpile of ammo.

You guys are missing the mark on "ghost guns" what the left call ghost guns are just 80% finished firearms. They aren't complete and so they aren't firearms. That is why they are allowed to be sold through retailers. Once you receive it and finish the last 20%, which you can do with household tools, it is now a firearm.
The rub is that at no point has it ever been illegal to manufacture your own guns. To manufacture then sell? Yes, but nothing has ever stopped you from making your own fallout style pipe gun for personal use.
What this EO will do is make these 80% "ghost guns" (seriously stop using that term its leftist hyperbole) require a background check. Retailers will either stop selling them entirely, hand over buyers list to the ATF, or sell them but require you to have them sent to an FFL. All of this is completely unconstitutional which goes without saying.
The "concealed assault rifles" are probably in reference to pistol braces. The ATF is going to reinterpret the law so that these are now stocks and not able to be mounted without SBR paperwork. If you have been looking to pickup an SB tactical brace I'd do it today like literally now because tomorrow they will be illegal.

Like I just said that is what the left wants you to believe. That anyone who does this is doing it because they want to avoid regulations. The thing is there is no regulation. Since 1776 it has been legal for you to build your own gun. You can't go around selling them but its completely fine to make them for your own use.
These people buying 80% lowers aren't exclusively trying to dodge laws, some negro felons that are on the upper end of the IQ spectrum yes, but the majority are doing this because its a legal hobby. You can build your own glock from the ground up after finishing the frame.

Sorry I misspoke. When I think of manufacturing guns I think of ones that are made with raw materials or a 3d printer. So I forgot that you can buy a 80% kit and make a gun that way, which is what biden wants to regulate.
