Report: EA Is Remastering The ‘Mass Effect’ Trilogy At Long Last (Unconfirmed)

I want to know about the new hairstyles and makeup.

Also what are some unique armors/weapons that were originally pre-order bonuses? I mean specifically ones you couldn't get with dlc

I remember Ashley had a pink version of her standard outfit in ME3 that came with the deluxe edition, and you could get Vega's armor for Shepard with a gamestop pre-order. There was a rifle too.

Replaying the trilogy myself, and really Bioware should only be touching three things:
1. Unfuck ME1’s scant autosaves, and have better organization for buying, selling, and comparing gear.
2. Unfuck ME1 Mako.
3. Update a few really bad ME1 textures. Just look at the elcor ambassador for an example of what I mean.

Don’t touch anything else. Fuck these 4k fags, the game looks pretty good as is, and it’s a decade old.
4. Put actual effort into making fleshed out level designs on the explorable planets instead of literally copy-pasting the interiors.

You mean you didn't enjoy the Mako controlling like it was from one of the shittier Tony Hawk games? That thing casually telling physics to bend over and spread 'em was always a good laugh.

The other points are totally fair, especially 3. Hell, I replayed the trilogy a few months ago, all ME1 really needs is some spit shine and it'd be good to go

The mako is hypnotically fun to drive. It’s amazing how something so terrible can be so enjoyable.

Mass Effect needs more in the tactics side of the game and less inventory management. Otherwise it’s hands down the best BioWare original game.

Needs the ability to change your hairstyle during the game as well. I always found it odd you had a literal galaxy to explore, but not one barber you could visit.

I'll always prefer the Mako to the Hammerhead. For a 'fighting vehicle' the Hammerhead spent most of its time on fire or getting ready to be on fire.

I only played the first one, but it was very generic and overrated - most likely the graphics and acting were overhyped when it was released (as well as the controversies over the sex scenes), but as far as RPGs go it wasn't revolutionary or anything.

A+, quality work, definitely not the diversity hires upscaling textures, tweaking the lighting sliders and calling it a day. Totally worth your $60, not a cash grab at all.

I'm enjoying it so far. Only visual adjustment I made was to turn down the contrast slightly.

I am using the Infiltrator class. Sniper rifles feel useful now.

pretty sure they didn't even that, that's probably some default lighting settings or it didn't re-import properly and they can't be arsed to fix it for all the scenes.
