Throughout the 20th century, the true precipitating force to cause a revolution was a crisis. Typically it's food, some foreign occupation, natural disaster, something that truly leads to a destabilization. As much hostility, simmering radicalism, and desperation exists in a society prior to this, it's usually something like that which really kicks things off and make people feel like there's actually nothing left to hold on to. This can be solved/exploited by revolutionaries, insurgents, coups, whatever it may be. So to me we already have the simmering hostility and violence leaking through and it's only being held in place by one of the most powerful and manipulative infrastructures in the history of the world. If anything destabilizes that, it'll be unprecedented, in my opinion. That's where Covid, the lockdowns, and all that shit comes in. I think America might be okay, but watch what's happening in Canada.
