What's the algorithm to mark highlights? Because the current one is full of retards going off tangent to civil war, seggregation & shit

Is there a way to browse the posts marked with 'informative' mark??
Just view my post history, pal. Buddy.

So realistically, if/when Chauvin walks, how bad is shit getting? Are we talking L.A. '92 bad or Bosnia '95 bad?
Probably just like the summer but with a bit more violence. Some officers will 100% get shot though. A lot of people want an excuse to loot. Antifa will jump at the oppertunity to leave their suburban homes and larp as the Vanguard of the Revolution for a day or two. Maybe LA riots level in certain places but nothing worse. And even then, police will be ready for these protests, it won't be like the storming of the capitol. No civil war though, or even long term unrest. People will want to go home and spend time with their newly aquired flatscreen TVs, not turn into revolutionaries.

God I hope we get another Chaz / Chop commune to poke fun at.

I don't see either happening or it even being as bad as last summer, people are fucking weary after a year+ of Covid, Trump is out, will anyone actually do anything at all besides bitch about it on Twitter?

America in the summer of 2020 was the proverbial powder keg waiting to explode, it was the perfect storm of elements like the lockdowns, Trump etc, it's a miracle things didn't go Bosnia back then, but they didn't, which seems to imply it might not happen this time either.

This could be purely wishful thinking on my part though because the thought we already have to go through this shit again less than a year later is tiresome to say the least.

It won't be a traditional civil war just more civil unrest. Niggers will chimp out and riot > Niggers start killing white people at random > nothing is done about it so whites start to defend themselves > whites kill the chimping out niggers > media says white people bad > government starts making laws specifically to punish white people for defending themeselfes (muh reparations n shiet!) > more civil unrest ensues as white poeple are singled out even further > government starts craking down on white chimpouts but not black chimpouts singling out white poeple yet further > niggers retaliate with more chimpouts and nothing is done about so white people continue to have to defend themselves > and this repeats for years to come.
Sad to think that's how this decade could play out.

You realize they are doing it right now, right? There's still autonomous zones going up, there's still riots, there's still racially motivated spree killings, the border crisis has escalated to preposterous levels, one city is talking about reparations for blacks, another is talking about up to 15k for illegal immigrants, BLM is out there promising cities will burn if they don't get what they want, there's a massive gun confiscation going on right now, the only thing that has changed is that the media is tamping it down because they don't want to make it seem like Biden's fault.

I'm expecting violent riots, but without the DNC to bankroll them I think it will be a little less wild than last summer.
I agree, but I'm expecting this next round of riots to further harden the sides of the gun control debate. People are gonna get shot, the Dems are gonna use it as an excuse to do a big gun grab in late 2021 or early 2022. There will be resistance and at least a half dozen Wacos. That is when the civil war will 'begin'.

That's my autistic prediction and I'm sticking to it until it doesn't happen.

I'm aware of all that, but I wonder if people will really be able to work up the gumption, but like I said myself, that could be pure, wishful thinking on my part.

I just wish this trial could have waited another month or two at least, you raise some really good points, this country is in an absolutely fucked up state and it really does feel like by the end of the year we're going to be in some sort of majorly collapsed state.

I get this awful, sick feeling when I really try to ruminate on what might be happening, but so I don't like, suffer a complete mental breakdown, I still try to be a little optimistic lol.

This is what feels like might be next, they're gonna make a big push for guns and it really is going to lead to some sort of civil war like state.

It sounds crazy but all the shit they've done in response to COVID would have sounded like doomer conspiracy theory nonsense in 2019 and yet here we are.

Shit was already bad in 2019 and the incredibly steep, sharp decline things took after that made 2019 look like child's play really does make it feel like this is fucking it, this is the end of the world as we knew it, because if things could decline as hard and as fast as they did over the least year ask yourself the question what might happen over the next year?

Miserable fucking times we live in and it really is just about all I can take sometimes.

Remember when we thought the "post 9/11 era" was bad? 20 years later it's all so much worse.

Portland still has rioting and violence every single night, but it goes completely unreported now.

My best advice is bug out right now if you can.

If you can pray to whomever you pray to.

Throughout the 20th century, the true precipitating force to cause a revolution was a crisis. Typically it's food, some foreign occupation, natural disaster, something that truly leads to a destabilization. As much hostility, simmering radicalism, and desperation exists in a society prior to this, it's usually something like that which really kicks things off and make people feel like there's actually nothing left to hold on to. This can be solved/exploited by revolutionaries, insurgents, coups, whatever it may be. So to me we already have the simmering hostility and violence leaking through and it's only being held in place by one of the most powerful and manipulative infrastructures in the history of the world. If anything destabilizes that, it'll be unprecedented, in my opinion. That's where Covid, the lockdowns, and all that shit comes in. I think America might be okay, but watch what's happening in Canada.

I was well aware of that, but ya know, Portland is Portland.

It really is not viable for me to uproot my life like that just yet and I question whether I would even want to bother to try to survive.

Not a good feeling when you start to genuinely think death can only be an improvement over life.

What's funny is how much Stephen King predicted this with The Stand, America had very deep divides even back in the 1970s and a pandemic would indeed possibly be the perfect thing to kickstart a fight over those divides.

It's actually quite eerie how prophetic that novel is, we just haven't had the supernatural come into play... yet.

I'm not an American but, shitposting aside, I don't enjoy watching the rioting shit as a spectator sport at all. That was an Anglo country once... Perhaps the greatest Anglo country ever at its peak, better than the original. To see it now is heart-breaking
I am an American and for me it was never a fun spectator sport, it was completely terrifying, not know how far it was going to go.

You've got a point. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to leverage this for an attack against 2A.

Can't we just limit the civil war to the ATF and the Feds?
