US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I'd bet big money Manchin has a suspiciously timed "accident" in the coming weeks.
Which in turn would mean he would likely be replaced by a Republican, and in the meantime the senate would be split 50-49 in the GOP's favor. Call me an optimist if you wish, but legislatively it seems almost certain that pretty much all of what Biden wants(aside from the budget stuff that already got passed through the reconciliation process) isn't going to happen now.

More saber rattling against the Russians. Thing is, I do agree that the whole seizure of the Crimea was both brazen and unacceptable(although arguably smart for the Russian Federation strategically, they need warm water ports after all)but the only thing this will do is unnecessarily escalate tensions there and could potentially lead to war(not likely, but after the brazen electoral fraud in 2020 that nobody did anything about I'm more likely to consider unlikely things happening). Ukraine is too poorly positioned strategically(Too close to Russia, as in has a land border close, it would be different if there was an large body of water between the two countries) for the US and Nato to be able to intervene effectively.

That's true, but it's not like the skinnies have anything of value to take. Now, South East Asian pirates, that might be a different story.

I won't lie, I have pondered winning the lottery and using the money to buy and refit a yacht with a 40mm Bofors gun and go Somali pirate hunting while cruising with a harem of gun bunnies.
Hell yeah save me a spot on that boat.

Re: racism public health yadda yadda...

Wisconsin is going to use their Covid windfall (what is this, the third? Fourth?) on billboards and even door-to-door canvassers to "educate" the nigge... I mean, underserved people about the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Hahaha I cannot wait to hear what happens to some of these canvassers going into the most depressed, ghetto AF neighborhoods in MKE knocking on doors. You could NOT pay me enough to do that. It'd be suicide.

First, tons of cash was used to raise awareness of Covid. (Raise awareness ALWAYS means "shove an issue down your throat so hard you cannot escape it") and as an astute Kiwi or two have pointed out, if it were a real pandemic we wouldn't have to advertise it. Between the billboards, TV ads, buttons, stickers, signs, etc. etc. they easily spent tens of millions.

Same with this vaccine, do they really think people don't know there's one available? Is there a hidden tribe of underground cave dwellers I don't know about that need this information? Fucking Dems and their greedy little paws, gotta get those Federal dollars come hell or high water.

So many of these very positive post I see linked on here feel very artificial. I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is that seems to make it feel so soulless, but I would not be surprised to learn it's either a bot or a person posting from a script. So much from Twitter (and reddit to a lesser extent) feels very inhuman. Even the grammar is always slightly off. Maybe its chinks looking to stir shit.

Joe doing his best to bring about Civil War 2.0
They really are. Just remember no civil war spontaneously happens. Both the Revolutionary War and Civil War were the result of about a decade or two worth of incidents and disputes between authorities.
Absolutely seething.
There's other private security groups that offer protection against African pirates. There's also a perpetually nearby Marine Expeditionary Unit within 12 hours of the horn of Africa that helps relay special forces units to liberate captured civilian ships.
The sad thing is all the focus on Somali piracy has let West African and Malaccan pirates run free.
Not suspicious at all.
The only thing that's been shocking about Biden's policies are the speed and quite frankly brazenness of them. I'd thought he'd at least pretend to be more subtle about it or play some politican games. But nope, full speed ahead straight to clown world.
You would think being in office for decades would give him political savviness but apparently not.
I'd bet big money Manchin has a suspiciously timed "accident" in the coming weeks.
Lol calm down. Worst case scenario is some random thot comes out with a story of him commiting some sexual misconduct like 20 years ago.
Odds are he gets accused of pedophilia or gets Roy Moored. Remember his campaign was dead in the water immediately when the media jumped on his accusers story when she had no solid evidence to prove her case (Hell her son called her a liar). That doesn't go into the shitshow that was that election, apparently people bussed in from out of state to vote against him.

Again, there's a problem with this brilliant plan, WV is red, really red. The odds that Manchin would somehow get replaced by another democrat are hilariously small.

They could just fraud it. If WV doesn't have ID laws they can just bus a bunch of people in or bus Dem voters to different stations. Didn't Obama move a bunch of Muslims into WV years back?

They could try, but WV isn't a swing state by any means, and electoral fraud isn't an "I win all future elections forever button" the way some doomer types in here seem to think.

Yeah and that's not even the half of the problems WV has with a recent influx of bullshit. Lots of drugs have been flowing down into Huntington through Detroit and from what I've heard there's been a lot of "vagrants" showing up inexplicably. At first some people in more rural areas were thinking it was just people moving in from other counties after losing their homes but there have supposedly been incidents of people seeing vans and unmarked LEO type cars straight up bringing them past county lines in more rural counties and dropping them off.

That being said, successfully pulling off such a blatant fraud in a state like WV would not be easy for them and probably not viewed as worth it in the long term. They'd just ramp up the fraud machine and tone down on some things until 2022 so they can get an even larger majority. WV still has some Dem sentiment because a lot of the old timers still remember the Democrat party as being the party that supported unions, and of course a lot of the younger generation and the brainwashed "I was mediocre in high school but couldn't figure out what to do" teachers they've got now are heavily titled toward Dem. But there's a reason Manchin toes the line more than any other Dem - he knows he's only in there based on flawed sentiment that has waned more and more with every year. If he were out of the equation there is no doubt WV would replace him with someone with an R next to their name so any fraud significant enough to change that would be so blatantly obvious it would put the whole cabal at risk.

I don't know a massive amount about WV's local problems but trying to fraud out Manchin, or his hypothetical GOP successor would be taking the fraud the dems are fond of more than a bit too far. Since it would be affecting the establishment GOP directly rather than just affecting a guy they hated(Trump). That's the kind of fraud that would face actual serious opposition from the GOP at the federal level.

TBH, nearly every Eastern European irredentist conflict stems back to Soviet shenanigans and social engineering. In the case of Crimea, it was ‘gifted’ to Ukraine during the 50s by Khrushchev whilst still retaining a large Russian population and the HQ of the Black Sea Fleet, and the Russians were always rather sore about that.

Oh boy, WW3 already.
I don't think this will amount to much more than a bunch of hot air, but if it does, lets hope it doesn't go nuclear. I have no interest in playing fallout IRL.

It's like the commies looked up what the British and French did in the ME after the Ottomans collapsed and decided to do something similar in Eastern Europe.

Not to mention when the Union finally collapsed basically every ethnic minority group decided to try and carve out their own state within and outside of Russia leading to the dozen or so unrecognized states that did or still do exist, usually with the assent of Russia in the latter.
