Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Looks like bending over hoping to stay relevant didn't win them any favors after all. Much like any reasonable person would've told them.
Setting up an advisory commission to examine the issue is far, far removed from actually doing a thing. It's the illusion of doing something without actually ever having to do it.
This. Biden's advisors know they realistically can't do all the silly bullshit the left wants them to do so nothing will come of this other than hand-wringing about nasty conservatives.
You guys read the text, I assume? Because if you didn't it makes it pretty transparently clear that this is the equivalent of needling a defense to find a weak spot. The entire purpose is to have this group find a loophole or somesuch legal device to pack the court. If they find it, and they probably will, they have every intention of using it.

This is like the talk that Biden was just going to be Obama 2.0. Expecting them not to go full-steam ahead on every avenue they can get to solidify their power at this point is just wishful thinking.

Unless said loophole allows them to bypass the Senate(lol if you think a few of the more moderate dems on the senate will vote yes on adding more justices to the SCOTUS, or any other similar fuckery with the courts for that matter), they aren't going to be able to accomplish much.

Lmfao America is so, so, so fucked.
Couldn't have happened to a better country.
Your border non-existent. Your states invaded with no retaliation in sight, instead welcoming them and giving them taxpayer-funded aid for overreproducing while telling Americans to stop reproducing. Your government; chinese property. Your citizens; cucked beyond belief. Your women; sleeping with your enemies. Your men; thinking they're women. Your army; welcoming mental illness. Your businesses; selling you out for profit. Your grandchildren; brown and looking nothing like you.

So long, Ameriniggers.
hey don't you live here too

Lol calm down. Worst case scenario is some random thot comes out with a story of him commiting some sexual misconduct like 20 years ago.
i can't tell if that's worse

They could just fraud it. If WV doesn't have ID laws they can just bus a bunch of people in or bus Dem voters to different stations. Didn't Obama move a bunch of Muslims into WV years back?
Joe Manchin's an example of West Virginia once being solid blue or swing if the red was strong (Reagan and Nixon). Manchin was the governor there. Thus the people there respect him enough, to some degree, to continually vote him in. But he's easily, and I mean easily, replaceable. Carter, Dukakis, and Clinton in our post-postmodern time all carried the state (Dukakis, to me, exemplifies the solid blue because... well Christ, the dude was a weak and foolish candidate who Governor of the northeastern state of Massachusetts against H. Dubya.). Jimmy and Bill were both southern state governors (Georgia and Arkansas, respectively), with more emphasis on Jimmy; even when Reagan blew him out in '80, he still held onto WV.

After the Clinton era, WV turned red with Dubya, and has grown more and more red 2000 onwards. It was even redder with McCain against Obama. I need to do more research on that alone, but it's clear—West Virginians hate the Democratic Party, and have shown it repeatedly in strides.

Look at this [photo]graph. Its historical trends make me laugh:

Nowadays, the Democratic Party obviously couldn't give a shit about a, what is it, 4 or 5 electoral vote state?

Well, presumably they would prefer it if Joe Manchin went along with the stuff the establishment dems wanted, and in theory if they could replace him with someone more left wing they could get some of said stuff done. Problem is that WV is far too red of a state now for them to be able to do that.

Odds are he gets accused of pedophilia or gets Roy Moored. Remember his campaign was dead in the water immediately when the media jumped on his accusers story when she had no solid evidence to prove her case (Hell her son called her a liar). That doesn't go into the shitshow that was that election, apparently people bussed in from out of state to vote against him.
Wait which Moore accuser was this? There were multiple, though yeah many were questionable.

Besides the hilarious slant towards blood red in the state there's a couple of things to also keep in mind regarding WV that some seem to be forgetting right now.

Firstly any "accident" on the part of Manchin won't yield another Democrat senator, as the governor is Republican it'll be a Republican appointee. Manchin as mentioned gets by based on his earlier record, any future Democrats won't be as lucky given the lack of incumbency and the state's modern political leanings. Guaranteed Manchin knows this very well; he may be part of the system and all in on pork projects, but he knows any commitment to gun control, filibuster removal, voting overhauls, or court packing on his part will be it for him politically.

Second is fraud isn't something you snap your fingers and pull off. WV is very much rural and dominated by those interests, there's no major urban center Dems can capture and pull a Chicago/Detroit/Atlanta/Milwaukee in (the capital Charleston for example is only 50k). The election systems in the state are controlled by Republicans and will stay that way outside of something like HR1 coming to fruition.

TBH, nearly every Eastern European irredentist conflict stems back to Soviet shenanigans and social engineering. In the case of Crimea, it was ‘gifted’ to Ukraine during the 50s by Khrushchev whilst still retaining a large Russian population and the HQ of the Black Sea Fleet, and the Russians were always rather sore about that.

TBH Crimea got a large Russian population due to Stalin and Beria resettling hundreds of thousands of people of Crimean population (mostly Tatars but also Greeks and Armenians) to other corner of USSR, and then re-populating the place with Russians.
In it's history Crimea was under control of ancient Greek city-states, Byzantine empire, Kievian kingdom, Mongol empire, Ottoman empire, Rusian empire and USSR was only the last stage of the whole thing

So many of these very positive post I see linked on here feel very artificial. I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is that seems to make it feel so soulless, but I would not be surprised to learn it's either a bot or a person posting from a script. So much from Twitter (and reddit to a lesser extent) feels very inhuman. Even the grammar is always slightly off. Maybe its chinks looking to stir shit.

Partly because these people are sterile neoliberal types. But mainly it is because of Biden himself. Everyone honest knows there's no charm, affinity or natural fanbase around him. He was merely the tool to defeat Trump and maybe push some dem legislation.

Anyone else get the feeling this administration is schizophrenic? Trumps administration was chaotic but it still had the feel of going in a direction. This just feels like they are throwing shit against the wall and hoping no one calls them on it.

The way how President Biden talks about gun control, one would think his handlers or staff would be a lot more concerned about his policies creating more domestic threats at home than former President Trump’s could ever do.

But I’m probably late coming to the conclusion.
"An AK in every garage and a Baretta in every kitchen." That should be a politicians motto.
I laughed way too hard about this.

So the Saudi owned adults at State managed to explain to the tards in the White House what a bad idea lifting all the sanctions would be. I imagine they had to use a lot of small words to explain what realpolitik is and that the Saudis and Israelis wouldn't just let this shit go. Christ above the Biden-Harris-Obama round 3 admin is so fucking stupid.

Democrats lost WV because they're the party that took out all the businesses in the state that facilitated unions. Coal miners and chemical plant workers were mostly blue because Democrats used to throw a bone to the working class, but after decades of D influence, the mines mostly shut down and the chemical plants downsized or moved in reaction to expanded EPA power. The only union power left in the state is public sector unions (mostly teachers) and we all know how they vote. There's also a big problem with drug addiction and disability fraud, otherwise the state would be solid red. Nothing like seeing a brand new Camaro or Corvette pull up to a run down trailer and empty out bags of steak and lobster from the back. In terms of statewide 2A sentiment, high schools basically close during hunting season because so many students are absent and as of '05, we were not being reprimanded for having guns in our car in the school parking lot. I'm sure that's changed, but not enough time has passed for people to forget it happened.
