Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Regarding the elites' confidence in mRNA vaccines I can't help but think of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. In the case of Theranos, the device they were working on didn't make practical sense, but you had a variety of old investors and DoD people thinking this was high tech so it magically would just work without questioning much anything.

With the mRNA vaccines, there's a similar absurd confidence due to its high tech aesthetic. Which differs from J&Js vaccine which is more a traditional vaccine, so the elites are more comfortable declaring it to have major problems since it has that old tech aesthetic.

There's also the idea tossed around that the mRNA vaccines decrease virus by 95% versus the trad vax decreasing it by 50% which would just mean lowering the dangers of the virus to being inconsequential, making it seem fairly lame to those imagining they can make the virus go away completely as though the Nu-Flu is polio. It's frightening for the elites to imagine that there is no choice but for the virus to stick around, especially since they bought into the idea that China is hyper-competent about handling itself (otherwise why ship industries there) and they were the ones that told everyone how dangerous the virus was. Since they've been sold on the idea that cases can go to near zero thanks to China's propaganda, all these major countries are searching for their own way to achieve this result. The mRNA vax ends up looking like the main option to making it a reality.

So went off on my friends after all the vaccine pressure. I should have just quietly faked the card. Is there anything on the back? I feel like they might want to inspect the physical item. I was going to use the J&J shot as a cover, but that's been pulled now.

Oh well, destined to be a pariah. I won't be allowed into their houses for gaming nights because I haven't sacrificed myself to the throne of science. Science, where as we know mistakes are never made and things never need to be adjusted. Perfect, flawless words of science. Silly me, I used to think it was a process where we repeatedly tear our ideas down to find their shortcomings and correct them.

It's funny how on the vax positive threads on reddit, people will go through these absolute horror stories of symptoms, like "Been sick for two weeks, can't move my arms, running a fever of 106 and my body rejects all food I try to eat from both ends, but hey, at least I'm safe from covid!" Some people do say how they had covid and the vaccine was so must worse and actually they would think twice about going through all that pain from a shot again.

I was also told how I'm not allowed to have opinions on science matters as I do not have the appropriate science papers. How dare I think I can speak on science. We do our sermons in latin here, folks. Trust us they mean what we say.

I'm still shocked doctors are still giving this to pregnant women, what with all the talk of the heavy periods and how interactive the vaccine is with uterine tissue. They will warn you against eating certain spices because they are aborticants, but not recommend you just hide from the big bad cold bug until you push out that baby?

The shots will still be there, unless they are pulled due to rare blood diseases! Also, the Covid group on facebook I was a part of is super angry that the government wasn't willing to just accept the deaths of those people as a blood sacrifice to appease the covid god. So unfair!

Six? I mean, I'm all for being extremely cautious about these untested vaccines, but out of the tens of thousands of recipients of this J&J vax, six have coincidentally developed an issue and suddenly it's all shut it down? This is the same unthinking, panic reaction that put us in this situation to begin with. The world is run by morons with less emotional stability than chris.
That is super weird... Like, why?

What's the source on those vaccine deaths?

In random news, I got a blood draw the other day, and the usual arm bandaid, and almost Instagramed it in order to have a paper trail if I ever needed to claim I'd had a vaccine. Anybody who really cares to fake it could probably do that.

So the J&J vaccine is causing problems (as the doubters predicted) and the CDC says that you don't have to wipe down surfaces as it is unlikely to catch COVID from contaminated surfaces, and this is after over a year of being told I was a science denier for not being scared to death.

These fucking people man.

So...what else did they get wrong? Just asking so I can make sure just how annoyed I should be.

I find ot pretty funny how people are bragging about getting the jab on social media as if they just go engaged or something. It's very cultish behavior.

It's one thing to volunteer for a medical experiment, because they typically pay you for that. But doing it for free and acting like you're hot shit, or a hero for being a lab rat is a whole new level of autism I can't seem to wrap my head around.

I'm not too worried about getting a vaccine at some point, but luckily our government is laughably incompetent so it's probably not gonna be until next year until my ridiculously nonriskgrouped ass would even appear on the priority list. Can't be forced to take a jab if there's isn't one.
Reminds me that I need to call my parents, I wonder if they got any jabs already.

Well, the obvious answers are:
  • lockdowns (caused significantly more harm than good and the coof had already become endemic before lockdowns began, defeating the purpose)
  • masks and mask mandates (a face diaper does fuck all to protect you, especially if it's just a piece of cloth, and can harm you in multiple ways (rebreathing your own air, bacteria growing on an unwashed mask, filter particles from disposable masks))
  • asymptomatic transmission (statistically insignificant but ended up training people to view perfectly healthy people as plaguebearers)
  • social distancing (some logic in theory, but the six-foot rule was pulled out of their collective asses)
  • basically anything that's come out of that rat fuck Fauci's mouth over his entire life
Seriously, I have more trust in a meteorologist to give me an accurate prediction about tomorrow's weather than I do that fucking goblin to be right.

To the pro-vaxxor trust the science shills in here, yes 6 reported cases are alarming and should have been caught in the testing phase. Oh wait, right.

Clearly you don't understand how little adverse reaction can shut a trial down, and how 6 deaths during a trial would end it right then and there. But yeah, trust the "science" only when it matches your partisan politics.

Wait, why is it ok for an emergency use with no liability vaccine to kill a small number of people, but zero deaths from covid are ok? Oh right, because it gives the right people unlimited power.

Move to a better state and get real friends. Your current NPC frenemies will turn on you when things get bad.

I suspect the Boomer bureaucratic dinosaurs that came up with the lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions got them from policies during the Spanish flu.

During the Spanish flu, the largest age demographic to be affected by the virus was people in their 20s and 30s. This lead to people being so afraid to go out that there were people starving to death because no one wanted to deliver the food and get sick. Back then the government's propaganda was trying to get everyone to work again and told them face masks would help.

This is what people wore back in the day. I'm sure very effective in preventing viral contagion...

That's why none of the policies make sense.
Even though the elderly and morbidly obese are the ones affected, policymakers act like young people are going to drop like flies.
They locked down everything because they figured people would be too afraid to go out like its 1918. Combine that with "essential workers" and policymakers had a way of putting a lid on the public while forcing a segment of the population to work.

It's a classic case of solving yesterday's problems today.

You don’t get a vaccine injected in the same spot you get a blood draw from... if you want to Instagram a fake vaccine picture put the plaster on your upper, outer arm.

I’ve had a first dose of the AZ. Not dead yet.
Anecdotal report from one subject etc etc.

I just want gigs to start again, bored of the inside of my own home now.

Yeah, considering moving back to my old state, if I have to. I had people there who loved my unconditionally, and here, I've found the latest price of their time is an injection. Not even wearing six masks would calm them enough. I feel like there should be a mask to vax exchange rate.

Mine was upper outer arm. using a Hemolink. But yeah - good point. Most blood draws are lower.

Well the interesting thing about cloth masks is that they should be next to impossible to keep clean for gym goers, assuming your government makes them mandatory as many have done.

Towels are basically radioactive when used properly at the gym, and using them properly means neurotically cleaning the equipment so they don't come into contact with anyone else's sweat or germs, storing them in a separate area from your other gym stuff, and washing them separately from anything. Yes even if it's just a sweat towel for your face.

A cloth mask is probably dirtier than a towel, but even if it's just comparable you would destroy it before you would get it clean.
