Right, so a lot has been happening over the past day or so as the drama has been unfolding so I'll try to catch you guys up to speed as best I can.
Aurini did a video with a youtube user named TheBechloff talking about Owen's video. Not a lot of new info, just a lot of discussing with a picture of some Nintendo figures and stuff. (Seriously? Can't even whip up a title card or something?)
Meanwhile on Jordan Owen's end, he did a Google Hangout with some gamergaters to talk about the drama and what's going on with The Sarkeesian Effect. The whole video is 4 hour's long, so skip to the 16 minute mark if you want to get to where Jordan joins in. Just like the Aurini interview, though, not a lot that's new.
Back at the original fundraising video, Davis seems to have gotten into an argument with Thunderf00t (and yes, he does spell his name with zeroes. no one knows why). For the uninitiated, Thunderf00t is the patron saint of euphoric anti-feminists everywhere. Think Richard Dawkins, except less respectable. This explains the sense of betrayal in Davis's first few responses.
After Thunderf00t stopped responding to his Google+ posts, Aurini posted this on Twitter some time later.
You will not escape Davis M J Aurini's demands for an apology!!!
(There was no response from Thunderf00t btw, or anyone else for that matter, because no1curr)
(archive of the google+ convo, in case you wanted to read all the responses)
(archive or Davis' tweet)
Then suddenly, an unlikely ally crosses enemy lines to offer aid to Mr. Owen.
Dan Olson isa hipster the creator of the "Folding Ideas" series of videos where he talks for a very long time about stuff, and he's pretty well regarded in the SJW community from what I can tell. Jordan's response to his offer was definitely not negative.
Perhaps there is some hope for the two warring sides to one day get along...?

Richard Coughlan makes a video supporting Jordan Owen and taking the piss out of one of Davis Aurini's videos.
Then an interesting new development comes to light.

Seems like a crucial detail that Davis left out of his whole "the mediator is 100% behind me on what I'm doing" spiel. Owen also made a video about this, complete with Johnny Cash quote at the end.
Unfortunately, this might be all we see of this saga for a while, as they seem to have agreed that the smart thing now is to just shut up. I'll keep my eye out for more, though.
