For @Top Skink and @SITHRAK!, I found Branca's opinion on how defense is losing ground on reasonable doubt today that he posted tonight pretty interesting. Basically he claimed that at this critical point in the trial, establishing doubt in either the overdose approach and/or the force approach needs to be done flawlessly to sway the jury, and that Brodd was not nearly prepared enough to do that and may have severely damaged Nelson's case. I agree though I feel that prosecution's medical expert witnesses were not as strong as Branca believes.

Nurse is the female equivalent of "just get a job in IT" or "just go for a law degree." It literally is where the lowest common denominator go, the types that are told that that particular career is a shortcut to a comfy life of no real work.

A few of my clients are callcenters, and they're full of the most vapid of bimbos sitting around waiting for the local nursing program, which has a multi-year waiting list, to open up and let them in. And a few years later, they'd be right back there, because the school doesn't care that there's no jobs available for them, they just care that they can pay the tuition.
