This comes from the Communism/ Socialism belief. They think that nobody should own anyhting.
Coincidentally if I were to rip the clothes off their back, take their car etc they would not like that.
Yeah the minute you propose that abolition of private property includes their iPads and Che T-shirts, it suddenly becomes ‘no, that’s PERSONAL property, totally different doncha know’.

Honestly I'm almost inclined to believe some of these shitters when it comes to Floyd being an actual Christ figure, considering how long he lived despite the sheer state of his health.
My favorite part of the Bible is where Jesus did a little dance while stealing a banana, then started screaming "I CAN'T BREATHE!"

There is no common ground with commies, no thanks.
This is funny you say this, because I was born in a communist country. The fervent youth inside of the US is nothing like how people felt at the end of the Soviet Union. We just felt empty. These people who have truly experienced communism are far more communist than the useful idiot living inside of a capitalist utopia.

We all are taking a journey in life. The most unhappy individuals are the ones who believe they have already reached their destination. People who wander to far into extremism are lost.

But if you are like me, you probably didn't always carry the beliefs you have now. You may have been lost at one point, but by challenging your own views and being open minded, you found the road again.

The thing about getting lost is that at the very least we become aware of our surroundings. If it happens again, we are better equipped to find the path again. I think for this reason, it is healthy to explore all avenues. It is healthy for people to go through phases.

Brcause the vast, vast majority of us learn extremely well through experience. We learn intimately what can and will go wrong. But more importantly if we open ourselves up to all ideas - any at all, we are moving forward, not settling on a destination. And if everything flips and your views take a 180, then you now know more about the opposing side than most people who share your views.

Well I think Kim Potter's accidental shooting will prolong the whole process. After Chauvin, Potter is next and she probably might see jail time.

Those non-sequestered jurors might get a real show this weekend. They'll see their city call the frothing mob a bunch of peaceful protestors while building Trump's wall around the house of the cop that just got doxxed. Maybe this is why CNN taught everyone how to make pressure cooker bombs after the Boston Marathon.

Pressure Cooker bombs? Well, thank god that Pressure Cookers are a relatively rare piece of equipment.

Oh. Well. Shit.

If my current running hypothesis is correct Potter's case will be more or less ignored by the media at large.

A worthless female cop who trains other cops and was the local police union manager? Guarantee you she's far enough to the left she's probably given tips to the local Antifa goons. I bet she sleeps with a little Biden plushe at night.

No, the media is going to memory hole her so fucking fast BLM's head will spin.

I doubt that one would work as well. You need one of those old school ones that are all steel and have that little metal pressure bleed valve on the top. Less than $10 at your local thrift store.

It's mostly the fact that her culpability and fault in that case are a lot less contentious. Daunte being an utter dumbass aside, she fucked up pretty bad on that stop.

My current hypothesis is that the likelihood of an event drawing significant media attention is tied directly to how effectively it can be used via slanted reporting to create a "one screen, two different movies" situation with audiences, which itself feeds into a cycle of polarization that begets further incidents to repeat the whole cycle with.

Excuse me if this has been established already, I have not read the whole thread or caught the bulk of the trial.

Is there some expectation in a murder charge that motive be established? Like has the prosecution alleged chauvin harbors racial biases or violent tendencies?

I don't really understand how you can charge someone with murder if you can't explicate a reason for the person committing the murder. Manslaughter, I understand can be merely the result of negligence.

I 100% agree with this. The Trayvon Martin Case was so Divisive because black people and lefties literally stripped away a man's Hispanic heritage and turned him into a racist nazi skinhead over night. The Mike Brown shooting was all built around the St. Mike Blessed be thy name of Hands up Dont shoot lie that is still preached to this day, George Floyd is the whole can't breeve thing and wether or not you believe there was horrific malice attributed to his death(I'm simplifying all of these I know).
This new case doesn't really have that hallmark divisive quality, there was some hubbub from the Blue Lives crowd for a few hours about "Well this is what happens when you don't train po-leece and defund the training!" But it was revealed she was a 26 year Vet who was at one time President of the Police Union, so there is no leg to stand on.
Yeah we can all agree he shouldn't have been a nigger and thrown his life away during a routine traffic stop like niggers are won't to do, but at the end of the day, she still shot him when she meant to taze him, there really isn't anything to be divided over.
