Sorry about some of the footage repeating towards the later half, but I wanted to be sure that nothing was left out.
The assholery towards EoT starts at 6:31:20 and 6:41:15.

Plus, at 2:16:55.

She spoiled her whole new SU video. Baring a few audio repeats she needs to fix and cutaway audios 99% of the video is done.

Here it is if you don't feel like even giving her a single view and want to know/talk about her points.

It be a shame if someone leaked it publically.

Not even a minute in, she admits to ripping off Hbomberguy, lies about what she said, and misrepresents her critics. This is going to either be amazing or frustrating or probably both.

Might be an idea to archive her previous SU rant video in case that mysteriously disappears.
Oh, trust me, it's been archived by who knows how many people, one way or another.
Speaking of mysterious disappearances, here's a hilariously long ask (submission?) that was recently deleted.

I gave her a shot, I really did, but I couldn't get past her rampant ignorance (or willful re-writing?) of real-world history.

Maybe her SU critique is somehow really good (although having watched her original video I already know the answer to that), but given how aggressively wrong she is re: the civil rights movement and Nazi government policies I'm not holding out hope.

'Doraemon was super successful therefore every show ever should do exactly the same thing'

Yeah because every breezy slice-of-life show has lasted for fifty years and nobody should enjoy different things.

In general, saying that shows should do [thing] because "X was Y" is a very tacky way of analysing media. It's just an excuse to feel superior when you shit on something you don't like.

Weird take for someone who used to praise Avatar: The Last Airbender for incorporating serious themes like that, stating that children are smarter than adults give them credit for and can handle more serious topics than most children's shows use. Especially since Avatar dealt with themes of growing up, sudden responsibility, abusive and absent parents, a.k.a. things that resonate with a lot of kids.
That's what bums me out about Lily. Apparently if a show doesn't perfectly cover a specific topic or makes some mistake like using a potentially offensive trope, it's worthless and has the blood of oppressed people on its hands. She even says she wishes ATLA never existed just because some other creators since then have shot for the moon, as it were, and missed. Keep in mind that there is no universal human experience, so even handling a subject "badly" has the potential to capture somebody's lived experience. (For more information, check out this fascinating article I found: https://www.acmi.net.au/stories-and-ideas/imperfect-reflections-defence-bad-queer-representation/)
Where does she get off encouraging unhealthy perfectionist habits? Since when did it become a crime to have some ambition, and try even though you might fail? Keep in mind that failure is subjective, given that people have taken a liking to these "Avatar wannabes" for a variety of reasons. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

Have you seen her ratings for modern cartoon representation? It's earlier in the thread and is honestly hilarious how bitter it is.

Speaking of current cartoons and LGBT, I kind of wonder what Lily would make of Amphibia. From what I understand, a fair amount of people are expecting at least one of the humans to come out as a lesbian, and Toad to Redemption leans on Toadstool being gay.
Maybe someone with a less superficial understanding of the show could weigh in?

Oh, I saw it. It sucked. I get that "no such thing as bad publicity" doesn't really apply to representation and there are some things to steer clear of, but does she expect one series to do EVERYTHING?
I can't imagine how she would react to the Persona series, though if it's anything like the articles I've read from other LGBT+ pundits, it wouldn't be pretty. Though I guess in the case of the Persona series I don't completely blame them with the whole transperson-hitting-on-minors thing from Persona 3 or the gay-couple-hitting-on-minors thing from Persona 5. I can tolerate certain tropes in LGBT+ representation, but "gay/trans= predator" is where I draw the line. It is important, though, to differentiate between a problematic moment and a problematic game. To top it off, some people just seem to not understand the stories that were being told in the first place. For instance, a lot of the backlash surrounding Kanji's arc in Persona 4 is based on a misunderstanding. It's been called a botched coming-out story, when it actually had very little to do with sexuality (beyond some off-color jokes) and was more about toxic masculinity. Seriously, how do you misinterpret "It ain't about girl or guy, I'm just scared shitless of being made fun of" unless you're TRYING to? Let's also keep in mind that the Persona series is basically an interactive shonen anime, a power fantasy aimed at teens (and, for better or for worse, a teen's perspective and a teen's understanding on social issues, if the viewerbase of anti-SJW YouTube is anything to go by (Not that this meant to be an excuse, just an explanation).) Can somebody who's actually played the Persona games back me up on any of this, and let me know if I got anything wrong?

Thanks mate. I still need to watch Amphibia properly, kind of fell off after the first two episodes.

You seem to be late to the punch.

Specifically because Persona is about characters and the relationships between those characters and Lily was pissed that it didn't have a fast-forward button so she could skip all of the story elements and get to her usual power fantasy combat stuff.

yes this and some homophobia/transphobia(well according to her 'standards' anyway).

aso Doraemon is hard to get into from the begining because the creator is apposed to home releases therefore episodes have been lost. some of them are considered lost media and are on the lost media wiki.

so even if the wasnt opposed too anime she wouldn't watch it because even a decade worth of anime thats released regularly would be to much for her, now imagin that times a few.

also i wanted to say something about lily's hate for anime- its kiiina racist- well not a shacker weve mentioned it before but;

anime is literally just cartoons in japanese. Anime doesn't refer to specifically Japanese animation, just anything animated, Shrek, toy story, those terrible cgi adverts? all would be considered anime if your Japanese who lived in japan all your life because cartoon in Japanese is anime.

It's a western idea that 'anime' means specifically japanese made cartoons. so her claiming she hates anime teeechnically implies she hates all of animation which... true considering how much of a negative nancy she is about things but her claiming all of anime is 'the same' and 'i hate anime' and even calling all of anime pedo fodder in the past and she hates japanese cartoons because of it-um, lily? idk if you know this but a lot of western media sexualizes children, if not more so that the japanese... atleast in japan their animated, in the west we have shit like dance moms, beauty paegents, and so ons. i dont hear you speak shit about them- nahhh its because you just want to stick em to the weebs and think all japanese are pedophiles because its 'so prevalent in their media'

dude ever watched an early 2000's highschool drama/film. yes most of the actors are adults but these teen characters get butt shots and dress in skimy-coded clothing. again, to shit-talking about them just because japanese anime is baaaaaad.

its not about anime, its about her thinking all japanese and weebs are pedos. which... yikes.

Lily " Stop finding loopholes for your shitty behavior" Orchard
is doing a double down on her ideas.

Her retweeting some moral fag who is a minor and hasn't even watched the new Lindsey video about Canceling as a whole.
Sounds like our girl. Any weapon on the shelf to flail autistically at women that are more successful than you are.

Funny enough you can hear Lily in the newest stream mumbling bitterly to herself how if Breadtubers didn't "spend so much money on their sets the world would be better." classic jealousy.
