He's got it backwards. Turning off the webcam would actually improve the stream by not having his low-res ghoul face taking up screen space.

If he was smart he would be charging to turn the webcam off for the rest of the stream.

This is now the third day recently where a whale dropped exactly $50 early on the day stream as seed money for a tips goal. Much like tipping with exactly 10 minutes left in a stream, it's odd that these whales have again fallen into exactly the same pattern, and did so in the course of a week. Just like OMM and SilentBob mysteriously moved their regular tips to the stream break around the same time. It's almost like one person is communicating with them and making requests for the windows in which they contribute. Maybe someone who seems to have a fixation on timing, control and routines...

The way you laid it out, it seems more plausible that the whales have their own selective group/they're contacting each other. But hey, maybe it is Phil and he's just stupid as fuck which is also very plausible.

He likely can't arrange them for every single stream - there aren't that many active whales and he has been relying on them for a lot of money. He also likely does not talk to the majority - just a handful of diehards. I don't think it's heavy communication, more like a regular whale like the Pastryarchy will email him and say they want to make some big contributions, something Phil did ask people to do in the past, and Phil says 'come by next week and do $50 at the end of prestream for a few days if you can.' It results in the occasional streams where he knows he has money coming at a certain point, and others where he knows he hasn't got backup coming.

He has effectively admitted that he has done this with Silent Bob in particular, but evidence also points to arrangements with PlanetJeff, OiC, and OneMinuteMan (even if it is Swagginz, Phil is making arrangements with a whale out of public sight). I'm confident he has made plans with other whales as well.

He spent 10 minutes sitting in the lobby looking at his phone, got in a match, immediately complained about lag and when he went back to the lobby pigcultcucks was there and he quit immediately.

He then got a match against an Ibuki who completely dismantled him. After it became apparent in the first few seconds that the person knew how to play her, Phil immediately started complaining about lag. They 2-0'd him and he immediately ran from the lobby. After Goji, if Phil gets one whiff that someone can hold their own in 3rd Strike, he runs.

Edit: Phil just complained that the troll is following him into lobbies. The problem is that he needs to play against people that aren't going to lose and then ragequit the lobby like a bitch.
That is exactly what he did after one match with that Ibuki... so it's only a problem when people don't want to get beat up by Phil for hours on end.

Edit 2: When asked what he wants from SF6, Phil stressed that he didn't want pattern play like SF5.
So... SF2 didn't have pattern play? He explains patterns and flowcharts every Friday to explain how he knows he should have won every match.

Edit 3: An anonymous $1.30 tipper and said '15'. Where have I seen this before...
Phil also lost to a Ryu in Alpha 3 and is now absolutely furious. He can't tolerate any losses now - he is just only here to beat up scrubs. Nobody is allowed to fight back.

Edit 4: Anonymous tipped $15 and said they 'meant to put the $15 in the other box' with the last tip - so they meant to tip him $15. Remarkable paypig stupidity.
