Chantal Sarault / Chantal Al-Refae / Foodie Beauty - Delusional drug fiend hamplanet mukbanger from Canada trying to be a glamorous online influencer. Pathological liar, huge bitch, narcissist, animal abuser

Happy to stand corrected on how Canada operates for rentals, my point was mostly jumping off from the previously quoted post regarding youtube income stability. I just think that suddenly some people have jumped to the conclusion that the apartment has definitely been signed in Peetz's name solely with no evidence. While I wouldn't put something like that past Chantal, it would require a level of foresight that I don't think she had at the time of moving.

It must have been like a week and a half or so ago that she said her and james will probably live together forever. Damn. It took a couple of Croatian cock pics and THC induced psychosis to throw her bff (of convenience) under the bus like the foul demon that she is...:story:

What is this fuckery? I don't know where you live dude but in Canada you can rent a 3 bedrooms (main bedroom, guests bedroom and home office) as a single person as long as your credit history is clear.

To get back on the main subject, if James is the sole name on the lease, I wouldn't be surprised it was Chantal's idea so she can leave as soon as she meets her Adonis, and leave her bff behind.

What a cunt.
Your credit history doesn't even have to be that clear, however they do verify your income, and it's unlikely that Peetz's income alone would be enough to qualify.

That said, verification is usually just a call to their employer, so it wouldn't be hard for Chantal to fake her employment situation.

Also, Pee said that his name is on TOP of the lease/rental agreement, not that it's the only name on it. Maybe he's the 'primary' name on the lease, so she can't kick him out, but that doesn't prevent her from leaving.

I would expect that the landlord would not want to rent out a 2 bed apartment to only 1 person on the lease (regardless of how the rent payment was split between the tenants). If they looked into Chantal's income stream enough to say "uhhhh no, youtube is not enough to pass our credit check to lease you this apartment" then they would look at Peetz' call center job and say "uhhhh no, you cannot support a 2 bedroom, split level apartment on this income". Plus also landlords need to know who they have living in their units even if a specific person, such as a child, is not paying towards the rent due (OK, I don't have experience of Canada, but it's a pretty common requirement to know how many people, and who they are, that live in your units even if you don't about how they choose to split the rent between themselves).

If there were any issues with the credit check regarding Chantal's YT income, I think she would just lean on Mama Sarault to act as a guarantor. Pretty sad to do so in your mid-to-late 30s, as that's more the kind of thing that students and those fresh out of college have to do, but she could easily convince Mama that the big nasty landlord wouldn't accept youtube-bucks but Mama is totally proud of her and recognizes she is a successful content creator and so will sign on the dotted line.

Even if it really was just in Peetz' name and she does a runner, they are now on a rolling lease and so he just needs to give 1 month's notice. I would expect his mother would help out on the final month, if they were financially able to do so. But if he got out during that month then yeah he may get sued in small claims for the missing amount but in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't be too onerous on his finances if he was able to negotiate a payment plan in the event he couldn't pay the full amount at once. The main thing is that he isn't be solely tied in to a year's lease just in his name that he has to abandon early.
Landlords (which are mostly midsize corporations) want to rent their units to whomever is most likely to pay the rent. Are you new in the world? Do you think everyone in McMansionville USA with a 5 bed 3 bath has to have a kid for each room? Are you from a country with a massive public housing sector maybe?

We jhave nearly 4,000 pages of rants about this woman and I could only immediately find one reference to the lease and gave up since I lost it at her getting stuck in the black chair on her birthday video from last year. Of course the lease information was in a livestream which was not archived since she didn't post it after. But it doesn't resolve the mystery if he's on the lease or not, though I think based on them buying the furniture together, him stating he's on the lease it's likely they are both on the lease. And not really something I'll worry more about since I don't think either of them will move out and if one does, well, okay.

The post about her lease is on page 1941: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/chantal-sarault-foodie-beauty.36883/post-6196921

She says in her Live Packing Moving Out livestream that she signed a one-year lease and paid last month's rent.

Spoiler: Transcript from livestream

I like you mean if we had to it's not a

35:58

deposit it's like we paid last month's

36:04

place it's a one-year lease so you know

36:09

if time is really about tough or

36:11

something we just have to try to work it

36:15

out for like a year you know but our

No, my point was more that if they are worried about people paying rent (or rather, not paying rent), having somebody who previously went bankrupt is probably not the soundest financial decision for them.

Neither of them can even take an empty box out of the hovel so thinking one of them is going to make enough effort to fully move out again is as delusional as Chantal thinking she’s going to one day be waking up in the bed of the creepy Croatian man she’s fatfishing.

Jumping to conclusions without evidence? James literally said, "She can't kick me out of this place because it's my name on the agreement." Chantal confirmed and added, "So I would have to be the one to leave." He never said anything about the position of his name on the agreement. Where is this shit coming from?

If you're going to post about your hot takes on what happened, at least watch the clip in question so you don't say something moronic.

You are 100% correct. A year on she still hasn't properly moved out of Bibi's place. I remember the videos back then: "I have to pack, but I want to do a muckbang." The current version is "I have to clean, but I want to beeze."

Chantal is currently live and DCMediaGirl's husband is hitting on Chinny in the chat.

Doesn't bankruptcy kind of "wipe the slate clean" in a matter of speaking? Like it resets your credit rating? Am I totally wrong? I thought it made it basically impossible to get approved for a mortgage... but if landlords never let bankrupted people rent their apartments, then where would they live?

IME, the landlord checking your income isn't that intense. Peetz would provide 3 months of pay stubs. Chantal would provide 3 months of whatever the YouTube equivalent of pay stubs is. If that combined monthly number is more than the rent, 90% of the time, that's all it takes.

I think it's most likely that they are both on the lease because either of them alone would not have enough money, but maybe this luxury villa is cheaper than I thought. Also, it's pretty common for landlords to let people sign leases even though their proof of income indicates that rent would eat up a huge, huge portion of it. Landlords don't care if tenants are living in the 30% rule, they only care if the money exists in your account so they can debit it every month.

Like attracts like. I'm sure there are more rational landlords out there who are more thorough in their selections, and who would not let someone move in if they knew the rent left then with little money after. But this luxury villa might just be the same crappy slum-lite shithole that exists everywhere else in Canada. Take your money, don't vet your neighbours, probably don't give a shit about loud parties or repairs. People give Chantal shit for not using the pool and gym (covid notwithstanding) but there's a real chance those facilities are gross and poorly maintained.

Basically, a club that would admit Chantal is probably not a club any of us would want to join. And tbh when she does move out and the landlord has to clean and replace anything, it probably won't even be in the top 10 of gross shit he's seen in his units.

The depths of their delusions are reminding me more and more of the Beales.
Except the Edie’s were touching, funny and somehow still had some optimism and style even in their squalor . Chinny and Peetz are just a pair of tedious bottom feeders . Nothing to see here but lives of not so quiet desperation

It does in the US after the bankruptcy payments are finished. It also will fall off your credit report eventually. In Canada it falls off after 6 years.

In her live she just said she probably wouldn’t eat her leftovers later. She genuinely thinks that just by claiming she won’t eat, she has instantly lost weight. Lately she has done a TON of claiming that she has no appetite and doesn’t even want to eat, in between shoveling down massive quantities of food. Have her eating habits even changed at all? The only change I’ve seen is she won’t say she’s binging anymore, now she’s always just beezin, which is ALWAYS excusable! she will DEFINITELY eat those leftovers. There isn’t a question about that.
