I find it hard to believe that Oliver is Chad. I tried to listen to some of "Shame" and Contra refers to Chad very positively (so he's definitely not the Metoo guy), and notes that they had a "serious long-term relationship" for 1.5 years. I don't think you could describe Nat's and Olly's relationship across the pond as "serious" or " long-term". The two may have visited each other a few times and may have had a sexual encounter or two, but that is a far cry from serious. According to /lgbt/, "Chad" refers to Chris Kinney, a blasian bobsledder, which is more in-line with Contra's description of Chad.

Both Contrapoints and Chris still follow each other on Instagram, suggesting an amicable breakup, which is in line with the breakup of "Chad". Both are Georgtown alumni. It makes more sense for them to have had a long term relationship.

Even if Chris isn't Chad, and the nickname "Chad" was all misdirection to conceal the real boyfriend, I still have a hard time seeing Chad as Oliver given the long-distance problem.

From my experience the woke are way more racist and sexist than the right. They condescend to black people, lecture black people and then attack black people who don't do as they are told. It's the same with women.

PT goes on about the Britishness of it all in that clip and I guess the American equivalent is the WASP, old money, Jackie O. aesthetic, but PT's doing it in a dress that doesn't fit right and it's hard to tell but I think the white collar is meant to be popped. If so, choosing to leave it like that actually makes the upper body look wider and blockier, and that severe brooch is doing no favors especially since brooches aren't usually worn like that. The sheer black tights make the whole look seem outdated. It comes off as stiff and awkward, where the whole point of that aesthetic is to be sophisticated, but understated and relaxed (as in "owning it," if you will.) Posh women, WASP women, whatever, don't dress like that and it comes off as someone wanting that vibe, but not understanding the styling well enough. Not to mention, being "classy," to put it one way, isn't so much about how you dress, but more how you carry yourself and PT does not pull it off at all.

It turns women off in general, but the whole "teehee I'm just a silly little woman who doesn't know what business or the stock market is teehee teehee" also doesn't work for the "BBC, public intellectual, educated upper class woman" thing at all since that's not how they act and most women understand there's a long history of women actually having to struggle to be taken seriously even though it's gotten much better as a result. Even women doing the trend of embracing the bimbo hyper-feminine aesthetic are doing it with obvious irony and it's performative. Drag queens do it as a performance and more of an art form, and that is absolutely clear in the act. PT is mixing all this up unironically and with so much unearned confidence that it's strange and awkward at best.
