This is a political show trial. Disgusting. Chauvin was willing to plead guilty for 3rd degree murder but was blocked by then Attorney General Bill Barr.

They want riots, they want police demoralization, they want to replace the existing police with politically loyalist militants. The American deep state went full kompromat during J. Edgar Hoover and that was the end of the Revolutionary ideals.

Really?!?! Not that I have been following every second of this but this is news to me. What was the justification for this?

a quick plea deal last year, and he would probably be out of prison already at this point in time.
plus there would be a lot less public attention and hate being drummed up against him.

"Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was prepared to plead guilty to third-degree murder in George Floyd's death before then-Attorney General William Barr personally blocked the plea deal last year, officials said."

"Barr rejected the deal in part because he felt it was too soon as the investigation into Floyd's death was still in its relative infancy, the officials said."

Still a dumb move even if he expected evidence to acquit Chauvin, Barr had to have known they wanted to crucify him.

Yes exactly. I know why they did this, but what was their farcical "legal" reason for refusing the plea deal?

The group of chimps is more guilty than any of the cops. "He's enjoying it", because he's white and he has a stern face? Resting cop face. On how much reddit are these people? It's not gonna go the way the mob wants and I wish I could come over on a short-term looting visa tbh

>Biden will make comments after the verdict.

Well, that just confirms that shit is going to burn regardless of whatever verdict is reached.

Hopefully the jury will be sequestered by then, so they won't have to hear all the media going "Pope Biden the First Declares Jihad against Chauvin, all Goodboys shall Earn their tendies by destroying him."

I am not familiar, but I don't think a jury is sequestered after the trial is over.

I'm pretty sure after the verdict, all 14 jurors are just SOL and on their own at that point. Good luck!
