It only takes 1 juror to say he's not guilty. That's why I'm betting mistrial. For them to find him guilty, all 12 jurors need to unanimously vote in favor of it.

Just a reminder that the Zimmerman trial had the exact same public perception, and Zim-zam flim-flammed a jury of all women (including a WoC) enough to get a complete acquittal.

There needs to be a federal crime he violated. There is no general murder federal charge.

They would have to do it as a civil rights violation, which because he died carries up to a life sentence but is even more difficult to pull off than any of the charges he's facing here.

They don't have to win. They just have to bankrupt you.

No way they don't try a civil rights violation. You'd get a very different jury pool though.

If a sitting congresswoman promoting violence against a jury, some fat mulatto whore sneaking around taking pictures, the undeniable ambient jury intimidation that is Minneapolis being on fire and the prosecution repeatedly being a bunch of fuck ups isn't grounds for mistrial, I'm not quite sure what would be.

I think IH is too high profile to risk talking about something as polarized as this. If he was willing to do this he'd probably already talk about the Zimmerman trial, which objectively had an internet shitshow moment with the skype calls, which would be perfect IH content imo.
