You guys have way, way, way too much faith in the jurors and some of you are honestly acting a little delusional imo. The way so many of you honestly think Chavin will get acquitted or a magical mistrial will happen is really confusing. It's basically a pipe dream that he gets anything less than guilty.

Go outside and talk to anyone, anyone who is following the trial. (People who use KiwiFarms don't count.) They are all on the state's side. They don't give a fuck about the toxicology, or the blood O2, or the danger Floyd presented. All they care about is the video and NINE MINUTES. Chances are the jury is the same, I mean, have you seen the profiles of them? The one mixed lady who specifically wanted to be on for this trial? Truth is that the majority of people are stupid and "Floyd died cause knee neck nine minutes" plus a video is more convincing to them than any amount of evidence the defense could put forward. Chauvin's either getting 2 or all 3 of the charges.

I dont know too many following the trial around here and that includes the people at work. They talked a lot about the election but very little about the trial. My black coworkers expect the police to get off because the system is broken and racist.

The people following the trial are reading highlights from woke media, they arent watching the trial itself. So their opinions dont count.

I still think well have a 1-1 mistrial where 1 guy holds out for guilty and another for not guilty.

I know several people who will quietly agree that Chauvin is guilty publicly-especially in the presence of blacks-but say something very different privately. Hell, even I'm complacent in that; my more liberal friends would cancel me if I dissented. Same thing in regards to trannies, most people don't actually believe they're women, but know what happens if they voice that truth.

If anything, the fact that people are secretly divided like that is more horrifying than encouraging. The powder keg has an alarmingly short fuse.

George Zimmerman was a white hispanic private citizen who shot and killt baby Tray-tray Martin who was just coming back from the store to get Arizona Iced Tea and skittles. After a trial that was much more entertaining than this one, he was acquitted on grounds of self-defense, and rightly so.

Zimmerman had good lawyers and the prosecution had bad/neutral witnesses.

Zims lawyers did good cross and the witnessess fell apart, one of them perjured herself by being anti zimzam on facebook. Another was your avg black teenager who did a bad job being a witness. Another was a 911 dispatcher who admitted that people dony have to obey dispatcher requests. A few neighbors who only heard the scuffle didnt see it and then we learned zimzam screamed like a girl while martin was punching him.

I've been saying mistrial for weeks. If a sitting congresswoman promoting violence against a jury, some fat mulatto whore sneaking around taking pictures, the undeniable ambient jury intimidation that is Minneapolis being on fire and the prosecution repeatedly being a bunch of fuck ups isn't grounds for mistrial, I'm not quite sure what would be.
