Can he just literally lie about the witness testimony? Can you just lie about the "homicide" part and get away with it?
Nelson went on for 10 minutes about the definition of Homicide and how it is used, and this guy just comes up there with "yeah but I talked to the guy who wrote it later on and he agrees with me that Chauvin was a murderer! Just trust me on this."

Yes. Witnesses are under oath to tell the truth, attorneys are not; otherwise there'd be a stunning amount of lightning strikes in courthouses on a daily basis
 
The defense attorney really talking about him having high-blood pressure, an opioid addiction and heart issues by the time he was born, except the day he died?

So if someone has Cancer for a year, it's unlikely that the last day of his life, he will be killed by cancer?
