5:03:20 - He basically says that in a lot of other states, appealing to emotions would be an automatic mistrial.

And yeah, he's "praising" the prosecutor but most of it sounds backhanded, at least to me.

5:06:00 - Says that the prosecution was boring, and Nelson was exciting but was talking too long.

Double Edit: For context, this guy was the co-counsel for the Casey Anthony defense team. Thought he was a retired judge, but I was wrong.

He was going to represent a Jane Doe against Trump and Epstein though. Jane Doe dropped the case due to "death threats" though.

Probably, yes. If a controlling majority of a nation turns amoral and futureless, existing only for immediate, empty pleasure at each other's expense, any self-government they set up just becomes another tool for them to prey on each other.
