I think my favorite part about that scenario is even that wouldn't be enough for Russ. He has a long history of stalking, harassing, and litigating the hookers who have already sucked his peen. There's no reason he wouldn't treat his celebrity crush the same way.

He expects undying devotion from any woman who catches his eye. He gets jealous over women he's never talked to having boyfriends. He thought he was in a relationship with a hooker he booked for an appointment, and she blocked him after he started telling the other guys on her Facebook she was taken and they needed to back off. He'd be the ultimate controlling boyfriend, as evidenced by his actions towards Erika. She told him firmly she just wanted to be friends, and he posts about how he's in a relationship with a model. She gets an actual boyfriend and he starts harassing him until Erika tells him to stop, then he invents a story that Chad(that will never not be funny) is abusing Erika, and keeps up pestering her until she reports him to the police. I'm quite shocked they actually charged him with anything.

Once again, he misunderstands how disability law works. NBC can't STOP him from auditioning, but unless they say "no you can't be on the show because you're disabled" he really doesn't have a case. Russ thinks his disability means people have to use lower standards in evaluating him/his work but that's not how it works.
