Why do you guarantee it? If there are, they don’t care enough to do anything about their community shitting the bed, or their numbers aren’t big enough to give them confidence in their position. From polling, blacks seem to want to have their cake and eat it too w/r/t police: They want cops to be there to keep them safe but not to have any power over them because it’s unfair, racist etc. to arrest them or enforce the law when they break it.

I think a larger portion of blacks may simply not care, too caught up in the daily hustle of survival/their own dysfunctional lives to be engaged in politics, and if they riot it’s because it’s an opportunity to get free shit.

I know it only qualifies as anecdotal evidence, but I’ve met unanimous disapproval for the riots among blacks offline. It’s really just a loud (literal) minority, the same way despite a 5x over representation in violent crime, only 1/50 black are reported as violent offenders. Is that a high number? Yes, troublingly so, but it isn’t remotely a majority or considered a generally approved way of life.

A couple hours most of the time. But that's because the average case has stronger evidence and less grey area than this. I think anything less than a couple days is optimistic, but they can technically go on until a verdict is reached, or the jury decides it's not going to make any progress.

I'm curious how many rioters even live in the vicinity of what's being destroyed. It reminds me of when my school won a national championship and 75% of the people arrested for rioting on the campus were from out of state. Not many people shit where they eat.
