I don't think we discussed much the potential misconduct from Blackwell's closing arguments. From Legal Insurrection wrapup:

This private information is unavailable to guests due to policies enforced by third-parties.
I think if he's found guilty of anything, he might have strong case of appeal just from the prosecution misconduct. It wasn't just this tidbit, but the discussion of evidence that was not to be brought up in front of the jury (Blackwell was involved in that too). Add in the non sequestering of the jury and the comments by politicians, I wouldn't be surprised.

I guess that's what you get when you use a non-prosecutor lawyer working pro bono?

Not sure if this was posted.

I know one thing, after this trial, this may be the first election where I vote straight R on the ballot.

If anything, that's a HOPE that the current DNC would be held accountable for the bullshit since 2020.

:optimistic:

Still a bunch of old guard racists tho.
Are you a time traveller? A retarded time traveller?

Still waiting on Obamacare

Are we guaranteed a verdict today or is it just hopeful thinking?
It happens when it happens. My guess is the jurors are discussing the murder charges at the moment.

OK, so here’s a basic rundown for all law disinclined kiwis about Minnesota charges - the prosecution does not have to prove that Chauvin was solely responsible for George Floyd’s death. They have to prove it’s a substantial factor. Essentially put, if you neglect someone’s health to the point they die, and your actions could have saved them and you made no attempt to assist, or prevented others from assisting, that’s a substantial factor. Nelson’s huge ramble at the end of the trial was an attempt to try and keep Chauvin from getting murder, and to try and circumvent the charges from by trying to insist on “reasonable use of force.”

We’ll see if it works out.

Isn’t it pretty bizarre that they can speak for a place like Minneapolis to the point where they have to loot and burn things down, which makes the citizens look more bad than the out of towners?

Not guilty plus awarded the medal of honor, they can vote however they want, what are the Niggers gonna do they got Derek Niggerslayer right there to slay all of the ones who step out of line anyway.
