I could be wrong because I have not been watching the trial live. But from what I have seen it looks like the main thing the prosecution is saying is that Chauvin is guilty even if what he did did not physically kill him because of his refusal to give aid.
Medical aid was literally on the way.

Does anyone else feel like this Chauvin verdict must be what it felt like for Gen X + boomers when they were watching the OJ verdict in 1995
The better 90s analogue to the Chauvin Trial is the Rodney King Trial. Police were caught on video using excessive force (in this case, straight up beating up a guy), and somehow still got off. And Gen X and Boomers watched that one unfold too.

And what happened in that case? The city of LA burned. Mass riots, looting, etc. You can almost expect to see a repeat if Chauvin is acquitted, but at a national scale.
Yes, the longer a jury takes to deliberate is a good sign for the defense.
I don't know if that's really the case here, unless "good for the defense" just means "only convicted of manslaughter".

Chauvin is facing a range of charges, some of which might be a stretch based on the wording of the law. I could see Chauvin beating the 2nd Degree Murder charge. I don't see him beating the one for involuntary manslaughter. But I'll bet there are jurors in there pushing for guilty on all charges, and that's why it's taking a while.

Now I'm sad I can't give you a semper fi right here in this thread.
Well, guess I'll have to pin it on some random other post, then.

Just cause your old saggy-assed grifter didn't manage to mobilize enough support don't mean the election was stolen, buddy.
I dunno man, over two hundred or so affidavits claiming shit's fucked may lead to the contrary.

Hitler's bday today. Maybe Odin will give us an aquittal in his memory
Paganism is gay and St Boniface did nothing wrong.
