Tell her he died of drug overdose and was resisting arrest. The knee hold was standard police procedure. This trail was 100% political. He was thrown under the bus because he is white. The verdict sends a strong message that rioting works so expect more riots, less police presence and more blacks to commit crime. It's the 1970s and 80s crime wave all over again.

I thought there were supposed to be strict rules for jury selection. Like, if you express beliefs about the defendant it makes you ineligable because, no matter how much you might say you're unbiased, you unconsciously are. Beyond that, though, I have to wonder if the defense made a stink about jurors like this and if they were shouted down and told they would take whatever jurors they wanted.

Honestly? I'm tempted. Not gonna start a fight like that in the middle of the evening when we're all trying to relax and eat dinner, but I'm not sure if the sources she follows have even mentioned the autopsy results.

Don't be a coward. The entire reason this occurred is because the Republicans were too cowardly to condemn this trail and defend Chauvin. They put no counter pressure.

Well, I was wrong. I expected an acquittal, because I expected a ruling based strictly on the facts of the case. I am an idiot.

So, how soon does the appeal get filed? And on what bases? Will the union fund any/all appeals, like they funded the defense? I know you can't just appeal a verdict simply because you don't like it, but there have been numerous times the judge ought to have declared a mistrial but didn't. And can you appeal a judgement based on jury tampering and/or intimidation?
