I feel sort of the same way man. I'm not sure if my reaction was created because I genuinely believe people are finally getting what's coming to them or the feeling is just caused by my internal rationalization that I can't actually do anything to change the chaotic world around me. Part of me wants to believe that normal people are confused and scared and just going along with whatever is happening, but the other part of me thinks they deserve it for not actively doing something about it earlier.

I never asked to become this aloof jaded person. Continually I've been watching everything getting worse over time and with no steps toward improvement. For me I reluctantly stopped caring and realized that I can only focus on myself and make changes to my own life. I don't think I'm at the stage where I can laugh about it yet, but given some time perhaps.
