Vaccines aren't a magic bullet. Lefties are retards for thinking they're some magic science juice. Rightwingers, no offense, are retards for saying that because they aren't a magic bullet that they're useless.
Vaccines are just a thing that triggers your body into an immune response to a disease before you ever get the disease, lessening the likelihood that you will catch said disease. The yearly flu vaccine only has like 40% efficacy, for God's sake. They're a preventative measure that is only so effective.
Personally, I recommend getting vaccinated. I understand if you don't want to, especially if you have a medical history of adverse reactions to vaccines.
The purpose of avoiding covid is not "saving grandma" like some hardline "SCIENCE!!!!!" types might say. You arent likely to die of covid if you contract it, and yeah, grandma gonna die anyways. The real dangerous part of covid is that it's got a handful of pretty debilitating symptoms that seem to be permanent, such as anosmia.
