I agree about this, bc this thread used to be about anisa and idubz. It's just very weird to see users from an Internet gossip forum debating about engagement, rings and weddings on a thread about a thot and sometimes her partner, even though some of the participants of this thread are not married yet.

I get where you're coming from. The whole "diamonds are forever was a marketing campaign" thing is basically common knowledge at this point, but the part you might be missing is why it was such a successful campaign. Diamond rings aren't just the result of people being mindless sheep. When looked at a certain way, DeBeers was just hijacking a market need/niche that could have easily been filled by any number of things. They just got there first and had enough money to push their agenda at the right point in time.

These aren’t engagement photos. In the US, those are staged photos with a photographer you do anywhere from 1-6 months AFTER the engagement, if not later — or not at all. People are just dumb and like to brag about proposals on social media with an “in the moment” shot
I would say "I'm surprised she didn't just get a ring tattoo" but that would make cheating more difficult, you can't just slip a tattoo off your finger.

Closing the distance won't change much. Every major city in America is so fucking cramped. Denver and Seattle especially, it's almost like they thought to themselves "we'll build a massive city here, oh wait that's right we need roads too. Whoops!" For a time I basically ran dedicated Starbucks loads from SeaTac area (Seattle, Tacoma) to Delta B.C. (close to Vancouver) the I-5 interstate is 4 lanes split so two lanes going N/S. Its down to 4 lanes, north of Seattle. all the way to B.C. and the port of entry is a complete shit show. Sometimes the car traffic would be free flowing and other times it backed up like crazy. The same went for the truck traffic. That drive sucks its not much distance wise, but time wise. Its a complete fucking gamble. It sucks neither of them want to leave the city and compromise. He could of easily moved to Great Falls, MT thats just south of Alberta where AB 4 turns into I-15. He could of even moved to one of the northern WA towns just south of B.C. like Bellingham, WA or something.
Why is he stretching his balls like that? No wonder Anisa is still in love with Chris Raygun. Better to fuck a manlet than some psycho that deforms his balls.

I think most people are surprised by the size of the ring because Anisa seems like the type of girl who would want to show it off, not thinking about it as an investment but rather bragging rights.
