An infant is a complex creature that is born, entirely more complex than a rat or roach. From emotions to soul structure to body movements, a newborn is much more complex and valuable than an animal or insect.

I try to value all life in it's balance function and place. The world can be beautiful that way. The roach and the rat both value their own lives as much as humans do, and my mother and I, who share a good bond that includes the ability to have such philosophical conversations, have discussed such things on numerous occasions.
