Now there's obviously enough controversy in that particular industry to make videos until 2031, but in order to do that he'd have to give a shit about gaming and not try to make others give a shit about his troonery and wrestling.

Something I've noticed about Jim over the years is that he seems desperate to be the person to first report on a game industry controversy. Most of his controversies are big flops that no one cares about but sometimes he hits it big, the most known being his coverage of steam greenlight that led to the digital homicide saga.

It's basically been a steady decline since, as no one outside of his fans have cared about any controversy he's tried to drum up. His latest attempt was last year when he was sperging about that Ubisoft mobile game using the raised fist symbol negatively and that's bad because the raised fist is a symbol of black power and blm and all that. He went harder on that than any other youtuber I've seen so much to the point that he included it on his top 10 worst games list.

I think his funniest failed attempt to drum up a controversy was when he admitted on one of his podcasts that he thought his latest Jimquisitions would be a huge hit with everyone talking about what he uncovered, but it ended up flopping due to it coming out the same day h3h3 released his video covering the CS:GO Lotto controversy and that ended up being a much bigger deal than anything Jim could uncover. I can't find the episode but I swear there's audio of Jim complaining about the fact that Ethan Klein managed to find a much better gaming controversy than him and that made him sad.

Yeah, there's no shortage of good controversy material but it takes digging and that's something Troon Jim isn't going to do because it takes effort and connections which I doubt he has anymore.

Look at some of the stuff Upper Echelon Gamers covers on his YT channel, I can see a lot of controversies he covers, especially in eSports being good JQ material, he could even bash capitalism there but noooo, covering that takes research and Jimbo is too busy pretending to beat up women to put in the work.

I don't know of anything happening outside of YouTube, but I'm guessing that after Jim's (admittedly justified, for once) kvetching about Pontes did nothing to stem the tide of fleeing subs he's dropped the subject.

I doubt he's interested in a legal battle either, at this point, since it might 41% him this time.

As well as echoing @Chilson 's point, I'm guessing Jimbolina also probably has pretty big medical bills, since even before the trooning he was popping pills for muh mentals and I know he had at least one hospital stay in the past, though I forget the reason why.

I don't really understand how the healthcare system works in Burgerland, but I'm guessing even if he has medical insurance his premiums must be gigantic, and they're probably going to get worse if he really plans to return to wrestling and since he seems to have abandoned any plans to lose weight.

I seem to recall a fair few wrestlers saying they used to take part time no show jobs with no pay, just so they could put something other than wrestler on their insurance because the price would just be too much to really pay. I got sick of Jim a few years ago when he left my tolerable level of lefty. I used to like him, but he kept sliding left, started to feel like he was just repeating himself, stopped putting in effort, felt lazy, and his politics started to feel more invasive as time went on.
