Secondly, while I've never been divorced, I'm pretty sure that's not how it works in Texas. We're a community property state. As I understand it, that means that the debts and the assets are divided up evenly between the two divorcing parties. Mommy can't just say "Yeah, you can take my son's half of the home equity". Also, notice how his evil ex-wife and mother conspired to screw him over, despite his work ethic? He was, once again, the victim.

Thirdly, it's not his house. It's his parent's house and presumably, because he's an unemployed internet warrior, his folks are paying for the kid's food and entertainment when the child is with them. It's not unreasonable for them to want to keep the toys they buy their grandson at their house. Lest next time he's over there (and his dad is glued to the computer screen and neglecting his parental responsibilities) the kid won't have anything to do because all his shit is at his mother's house.

I used to run 2 subreddits a couple years ago that were semi famous: Average_redditor and Average_ahs_user.
